Join us on a cruise from Malta to Sicily and back. On this stunning route you will be exposed to fortified cities, remote bays, sandy beaches and unbelievable sea cliffs. The unique culture of Malta will amaze you and the route to Sicily will be an experience you won't soon forget. The crossing to Sicily will likely be done at night so you have more daylight to explore! Watch the lights fade into the distance as you settle down to sleep before your 3 hour watch where you will learn and perform various sailing tasks with your team!

This experience is extremely laid back and flexible so you can spend your days how you choose. Mix time sailing with snorkelling, basking in the sun and exploring the less populated parts of the area before heading into town for a nice meal of local food. On this trip you will find that the skipper and the new people joining you on board love traveling and going on new adventures just as much as you do! The itinerary is not fixed and the plans are made according to the weather and winds just like real sailors should do!

This trip is unique because the skippers have a great focus on sustainable travel. We will limit plastics on board and collect plastic garbage as well as encourage the group to immerse themselves in the new cultures of these amazing places. Join us on an adventure where you will connect with nature and act like a local, respecting the Earth and the natives at each new spot we anchor. This wonderful experience will open your eyes to new cultures and you will leave it with new friends as well as a new outlook on travel.

Departure: Saturday 16:00
Kalkara Marina Co. Ltd, Kalkara Wharf, Kalkara, KKR 1501, Malta

You will have the opportunity to really learn to sail on this trip. You will learn the curriculum of the RYA Competent Crew course on this adventure so you can be an active member on board!

This fortified capital sits on a high peninsula. Take a look at the ditches and towering walls that surround the city and experience the charm of the city within.

Currently only home to a single family, it's hard to believe that it used to be a quarantine hospital, prison and pig farm. Sail over to the Blue Lagoon in the evening after all the tourists have left!

Unfortunately the famous Azure Window can no longer be spotted here since in collapsed in 2017, but the area is a stunning place to explore nonetheless. Go for a swim and take in the scenery here.

Our first stop in Sicily after mooring in the Marina di Ragusa, this city's architecture warrants a full day of exploration on land. Go for a stroll, snap some photos and enjoy a gelato in the sun.

Near Ragusa, Modica is known for its chocolate along with its architecture. Go for a chocolate tasting and then hike the steps to St. George Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

This pleasant little town will be our starting point for the return to Malta. Relax on the beach or go for a walk to the beautiful castle located there.

This town is home to the most colorful harbor where you will see small Luzzu boats painted the most vibrant yellows, blues and greens. These are the traditional fishing boats of Malta and the area is famous for being the main traditional harbor for fishing there.

Then it will be time to say goodbye. Run through the memories of this amazing trip and keep in touch with your new friends.

Return: Saturday 9:00

I usually fly solo when traveling, and it never occurred to me to sign up for a package tour. But I took a gamble here and they exceeded my expectations. They have somehow figured out how to get adults to buy into a sincere spirit of group adventure and camaraderie without it ever feeling forced. And obviously, the locations are beautiful, the other people are engaging, the sailing is fun (you'll grow in confidence throughout the week), and it's clear that the Dominick and his team really care about the experience they are creating. You can easily do this trip alone, with friends, or with your significant other. I'm sure I'll sail with them again.

Stop thinking about sailing with them... and just book it. You’ll love it!
Your fellow crew members are a wonderful bunch – and we had the most laid-back skipper ever to roam the Med. The scenery is amazing and varied: you’ll moor-up in a port one night amongst super-yachts then drop anchor the following night in a nearly-deserted bay. You’ll learn so much if you’ve never sailed before, but it’s all really relaxed.
I’m so glad I took the plunge – you will be too.
Maybe see you out there one day soon...

Badly organized trip, old boat not prepared with equipment for the entire crew and unprofessional skipper (untrustworthy, drinking durin the sailing, etc.).
It could have been an excellent week, it's a pity.
