Mileage trip from Carloforte (Italy) to Mortil (Spain)

Mileage trip with approx. 600 NM from Carloforte (St. Pietro Sardinia) to Motrin (Spain mainland)

The mile trip is also suitable for beginners to a certain extent. However, you must have basic sailing knowledge. This means that you should be able to distinguish windward from leeward, be able to tie common sailor's knots such as bowline, cat line, etc., know how to properly secure a winch or cleat, and have some experience.
This means that you have already been on the open sea and are also "seaworthy".
Since we are sailing offshore on this trip, it is essential to have your own oilskins. It is also essential to keep watch during the night trip.

Plan

From Carloforte we head straight SW towards the Spanish Fist.
After about 450 NM, depending on wind and weather, we will make our first overnight stop in Cartagena after about 3 1/2 days.

From Cartagena, where we rest for one day, we continue close to the coast to San José, which is about 70 NM away. From there we start the last leg to Motril the next morning, where the trip ends.

The trip is designed to last 10 days, as depending on the weather, we may have to wait for a weather window before we can start the first long leg to Cartagena, or due to the weather or wind, the planned route for this trip may deviate and we may have to make a stop on Mallorca or Ibiza.

In addition to 2 wind generators and 5 solar panels, we also have a watermaker on board that produces about 30-40 liters of fresh water per hour.

The pantry is also equipped with all necessary cooking utensils.
Among other things, 2 refrigerators, a 3 burner gas stove and a reverse osmosis fresh water system.

We take a maximum of 6 guests on our trips.
