Nautical cruise through Sicily and to the south of Sardinia

On this sailing trip you will start in the city of Trapani, in western Sicily.

This trip includes a long journey of about 2 days, and the other days we will dedicate to sailing through the area of the Egadi Islands or through the south of Sardinia. It will depend on the meteorology that will be the one that will mark the days of the trip in which the journey will take place.

Including a nautical journey in your sailing vacation is a perfect opportunity to learn, gain experience, and have a good immersion in sailing.

Sailing trips, anchoring in practically virgin places, enjoying incredible landscapes and crystalline waters, being surrounded by nature in protected areas, getting to know Sicilian culture, history and gastronomy, and visiting the two cities of great cultural interest such as Trapani and Cagliari.

Plan

The first day is the day of embarkation. We will be in the city of Trapani, in Sicily. You can board from 12pm. We will sleep in the port or anchorage area where we are and we will organize the plan for the following days according to the weather and preferences of the group.

From Palermo, we will visit the northwest area of the island of Sicily. We will dedicate the following days to exploring this area, discovering its natural landscapes and its charming coastal towns.

Finally, we will cross from the west of Sicily to the south of the island of Sardinia, in a journey of about 200 nautical miles.
*We will cross to Sardinia according to the weather forecast. At the beginning of the trip, we will study the weather and see which are the best days to cross and make the journey.

On this trip, there is no fixed itinerary marked out, but an area to discover, and we will do it at our own pace, according to what the whole group feels like and the pace set by the weather.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

*TRIP ITINERARY: We depend on the weather and we go with the wind, so the final itinerary is decided based on the weather and the preferences of the group.

* MEALS ON BOARD. Food expenses will be divided among all crew members. We will make sure that all the provisions are ready before leaving. Food costs are usually around 20 euros per person per day.

*EXPERIENCE. It is not necessary that you have previous experience in navigation, just a desire to learn and enjoy this adventure.

*LIFE ON BOARD. The tasks on board are collaborative. Guards, kitchen, order and cleaning is organized among all.

Boat details

More than a sailboat, this boat is a home for us and our guests. It is cozy and with comfortable spaces.
The sailboat is 13.30 meters long. It has 4 cabins. Two of them with a double bed, one with a double bed and an additional bed, and one with 2 bunk beds.
It has a spacious living room inside, a well-equipped kitchen, and 2 bathrooms with a hot shower.

Its outdoor spaces are perfect to enjoy long days at sea. Relax in the bow hanging from a hammock, or sit in the bathtub looking for a bit of shade at lunchtime.
It is a perfect boat to sail in different conditions, learn and have fun.
