Saturday afternoon - Boarding in Valencia. Crew reception, presentations, distribution of the boats, briefing on the trip, coexistence and safety rules and provisioning of the boat for the whole week. With the instructions of the patron, we will make the shopping list and go to a supermarket to buy. On the way back we will store everything properly. At night, around 12 o'clock, after having dinner in the port, we will set sail for Ibiza to Cala Compte. We will sail all night (from 12 to 14 hours). The crew will be on watch during the crossing, in pairs and in turns, under the instructions of the skipper.

We wake up approaching Ibiza, Cala Compte, where we will spend the rest of the day, swimming, beach, siesta and in the afternoon, we will see the magical sunset in one of the beach bars. We will see one of the sunsets that are among the most beautiful in the world. There we will meet, on the beach, the crews of all the boats to see it. Then we have a drink in one of the beach bars.

After breakfast and a morning bath in its crystalline waters (we can take the opportunity to see fish among the rocks or dive into a small cave, we head to Ensenada de Aubarca. It is a little-visited cove that is very, very It is difficult to access from land. It is surrounded by high cliffs and is a splendid natural setting with almost exclusive access by boat. There we will bathe, snorkel and eat. We will visit one of its caves on the inflatable. After lunch we set sail for Sant Antony From Portmany to anchor in its bay. In the pneumatic we go down to land and go to Café del Mar to see the sunset. Then to have dinner at the Villa Mercedes restaurant. After dinner is our opportunity to visit the city of Ibiza. We suggest having a drink at the Pereyra café theater, a mythical place in Ibiza with live music and free entry, then those who still want to go out can go to Keeper, Pachá or one of the other clubs.

In the morning we sail towards Cala d'Hort, in front of the islet of Es Vedrá, where we will anchor, eat and bathe. After lunch we set sail for the nearby Cala Jondal (if the swell and wind conditions allow it), to have a drink at the Blue Marlin, a trendy beach bar with beautiful people and an Ibizan party. It is an afternoon place where after having a drink, we will return to dinner on the boat.

We set sail early for the famous mud baths on the island of Espalmador. Espalmador is a small island that separates Ibiza from Formentera. It is famous for its mud baths and for its wonderful Sa Alga beach. We are in the Ses Salines Natural Park, so we must make an effort to leave the environment as we found it when we arrived, without it being noticed that we have been there. The island is not inhabited. We cannot leave garbage on the island. Later, while we contemplate the luxurious yachts anchored in front of Illetes and some fantastic sailboats, we go to anchor in Cala Saona in Formentera to eat, where we will bathe in its crystalline turquoise waters. Cala Saona has the best waters in the entire Mediterranean. This small cove is one of the most beautiful and luminous that can be visited. In Cala Saona we will spend more than 24 hours, until after dinner on Thursday. Free time. We have Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning and afternoon free. You can take advantage of and rent motorcycles, cars or bicycles to tour the island or enjoy its crystal clear waters and snorkel. A good option, on Wednesday afternoon, is to visit the La Mola lighthouse, a magical place where Jules Verne was inspired. We should not miss visiting the La Mola market. Every Wednesday and Sunday, from June to October, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Fira de la Mola hosts artisan workshops and creators work with different materials such as wood, silver, stone ... in addition to booths where you can buy very diverse and high-quality handicrafts. There is a great atmosphere and live musical performances are often offered. If we do not have practice or we are not comfortable riding a motorcycle, we can rent a car among several, to avoid accidents. If we have stayed on the boat, we can have a mojito at a beach bar in the cove while we watch the sunset. At night we will meet on the beach or in one of our boats.

We will visit on the motorcycles or bicycles rented from the day before what we will have left of our tour of Formentera. We can visit Illetes, Salinas or the Cap de Berbería lighthouse, for example. In the afternoon, for sunset, we will go to the hotel in the cove where if we wish we can have a drink while we watch the live performances they offer.

At dawn, around 1 or 4 in the morning, we set sail for Valencia to arrive at the port in the early afternoon. Once on land we shower and groom ourselves for dinner the whole group in one of the restaurants near the port. After disco and / or drinks in the same leisure area of the port to avoid having to drive.

At 8 in the morning farewell and end of the journey and our wonderful boat holidays to Ibiza and Formentera and end of our services. We must leave the ship as soon as the cleaning and maintenance teams begin to prepare the sailboat for the next crew, who arrive in a few hours.

  • Una semana en velero por Ibiza y Formentera desde Valencia
    August 2020
A memorable, fun and risky experience, very complete: we have been very lucky with the weather and we have been able to sail with little wind and medium-high wind; at night, calm; As soon as you return to Denia and have the boat moored in port, there was a storm time! It has been amazing! We have visited the city of Ibiza and the island of Formentera; but, above all, sailing along the coast from cove to cove, anchoring, bathing from the boat, entering the port on a sailboat, ... with sun, clear sky, breeze, ... unforgettable.
Coexistence, key point: a 7-day dive of 9 people on a boat in which we have had moments of tension, but also very good times in a group that we will undoubtedly always remember each and everyone!
Regarding the skipper, the ship was not taken by María José, but another skipper; I think this should be explained before booking; On the other hand, we set sail two boats at the same time from Denia, organized by María José, and we have done the whole trip together, in parallel. The two crews and the two skippers have connected very well! In addition, we have helped each other, passing ice when it was finished on a boat, lending us the SUP board or helping with a breakdown on the boat. We have all made an effort to make the trip to everyone's taste, following individual proposals and making group agreements. The bosses, always ready to make the trip to everyone's liking. And also, they have given us their enthusiasm for sailing and sailing and have passed on their knowledge and nautical experiences.
