We start in Funchal on Madeira. The island of flowers is famous for its rich vegetation, breathtaking landscape and of course its wine, and the waters around it are home to many marine animals, especially whales, porpoises and all kinds of large predatory fish.
If the weather doesn't spoil our plans, we should be able to make a long shore excursion before we set sail. With a little luck, we might make another stop on the north side of Madeira or a flying visit to Porto Santo. Then we'll set off on the queen's stage. The crossing to the Strait of Gibraltar awaits us - 600 to 700 nautical miles non-stop across the open Atlantic.
Our next stop is Gibraltar and depending on the time of arrival and the weather, we will have time not only to visit the famous rock but also to visit Cadiz, Tarifa or the Moroccan town of Tangier with its beautiful old town before we set off from Gibraltar for the final leg to Malaga. It is Holy Week and Andalusia is famous for its elaborate Easter processions. The ones in Malaga are among the most beautiful and we will be there in time for Maundy Thursday.
ATTENTION: The end of the trip and disembarkation is Good Friday, April 18th.
And if 2 weeks are not enough for you, you can also do the 3rd stage to Mallorca - or all 3! 4 weeks for € 1,990 ;)
See you soon on board, we look forward to seeing you!
