Adventure offered by Alex

Live a unique experience in San Blas (Panama), a paradise that will not leave you indifferent!

An Eden of fine white sand, coconut trees and turquoise and crystalline waters, that is the archipelago of San Blas (Panama) and that is where the Intrepid is located.

The San Blas archipelago (previously known as the mulatto archipelago), is a group of 365 islands and islets belonging to Panama, of which only 50 are inhabited. It is the home of the Kuna indigenous people who govern and manage their islands and are part of the Kuna Yala region. The Kuna are a people that stand out for their friendliness and sensitivity to art and specifically decorative art. Their language is "Kuna or Tule Kaya" although they also speak Spanish. Thanks to this population, San Blas preserves its forests and beaches in their original state, since they have protected their legacy from large hotel companies.

Its capital is Gairgirgordub (island of the future). This archipelago is just 2 hours from the Panamanian capital (Panama City) which can be reached by light aircraft (air Panama) and by car + boat (the most popular option). From the Intrepid we help you with transportation from Panama City to San Blas.
The official currency is the Balboa or dollar (1 Balboa = 1 Dollar = 0.89 euros)

In addition to the traditions of the Kuna and its ancient wealth, this archipelago is famous for its beautiful beaches with transparent water and its coral bottoms where we can snorkel since its reefs are famous because they have the greatest biodiversity in the Caribbean. It has beautiful islands and uninhabited cays where we can walk among coconut trees and
its impregnable forests where nature is expressed in its purest form.

Weather and Navigation

San Blas is an archipelago surrounded by coral which makes its waters calm and we must add the continuous arrival of the trade winds which makes it a pleasant and calm navigation and stay on board.
The average temperature is between 27 ° and 30 °.

San Blas has a rainy season that runs from May to November and a dry season that runs from December to April (high season in San Blas); even so, its average temperature does not change throughout the year.

Our aim is a few days sailing through beautiful islands with the possibility of practicing different water sports, savoring the delicacies that land and sea provide us and enriching ourselves with the Kuna culture.

It was an honor to have met and sailed with Captain Alex and Anabel, the 4x4 Vice Captain. The boat is fast, comfortable and safe.
I had an unbeatable and great learning experience, sailing through the Lesser Antilles with this team.
Congratulations with the project around the world and hopefully we are in another stage of this beautiful journey.

Experience to repeat. The plan that Alex proposes tries to balance times in coves and beaches with times of navigation. It also answers all the doubts and allows you to carry out the different tasks and maneuvers that are done on a sailboat so that you learn. And the atmosphere on the boat is very good.
