Live a unique experience in San Blas (Panama), a paradise that will not leave you indifferent!
An Eden of fine white sand, coconut trees and turquoise and crystalline waters, that is the archipelago of San Blas (Panama) and that is where the Intrepid is located.
The San Blas archipelago (previously known as the mulatto archipelago), is a group of 365 islands and islets belonging to Panama, of which only 50 are inhabited. It is the home of the Kuna indigenous people who govern and manage their islands and are part of the Kuna Yala region. The Kuna are a people that stand out for their friendliness and sensitivity to art and specifically decorative art. Their language is "Kuna or Tule Kaya" although they also speak Spanish. Thanks to this population, San Blas preserves its forests and beaches in their original state, since they have protected their legacy from large hotel companies.
Its capital is Gairgirgordub (island of the future). This archipelago is just 2 hours from the Panamanian capital (Panama City) which can be reached by light aircraft (air Panama) and by car + boat (the most popular option). From the Intrepid we help you with transportation from Panama City to San Blas.
The official currency is the Balboa or dollar (1 Balboa = 1 Dollar = 0.89 euros)
In addition to the traditions of the Kuna and its ancient wealth, this archipelago is famous for its beautiful beaches with transparent water and its coral bottoms where we can snorkel since its reefs are famous because they have the greatest biodiversity in the Caribbean. It has beautiful islands and uninhabited cays where we can walk among coconut trees and
its impregnable forests where nature is expressed in its purest form.
