Type of Boat: A/C Traditional Wooden Gulet (M/S)
    Duration: 7 Nights - 8 Days
Departure: Saturdays by 15:30 at Marmaris Harbor
Return: Saturdays by 10:30 to Marmaris Harbor
Optional Excursions: Knidos tour, Jeep safari, Turkish bath

    DAY 1: MARMARIS
Boarding starts by 15.30 at Marmaris Marina. You will have time for visiting the old town and bazaar of Marmaris with its small streets and hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants. The castle of Marmaris lies on the old town hill and offers a beautiful view across the harbor. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Marmaris.

DAY 2: ARAP ISLAND – BOZUKKALE
After breakfast you will be informed about the cruise itinerary and boat. We set sail to Arap Island where the lunch will be served, then cruise to Bozukkale, known as Loryma in the ancient times. Bozukkale means Crooked Castle and this name is given to the castle as its one side is missing. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Bozukkale.

    DAY 3: DATCA
We anchor at Datca Harbor after breakfast. Datca is a small harbor town that dates back to the Dorian times and it is the nearest place to the ancient city of Knidos which lies at the west end of the peninsula that you may join as an optional excursion. We will anchor in a near and nice bay called Kargi as a swimming stop. In the evening you will have free time to visit Datca with its lovely little streets and harbor.

    DAY 4: AKTUR – BENCIK
We will cruise to Aktur for a swimming stop then set sail to Bencik which has a narrow entrance but a unique view. Bencik is located at the narrowest part of the Datca Peninsula that divides Hisaronu Gulf from the Gokova Gulf. You should take a short walk up to the top of the hill in Bencik, you can have at the same time the fantastic views of these two gulfs. In 550’s B.C. the Knidos people wanted to dig a tunnel in Bencik, the narrowest land piece of the peninsula as defence line against the Persians. That way they tried to get Datca part as an island to make a stronger defence. However, in the end they could not manage and the city was conquered by the Persians.

DAY 5: ORHANIYE – SELIMIYE – KOCA ISLAND
We will cruise into the Gulf of Hisaronu and anchor in Orhaniye where you can see the natural tidal formation called Kiz Kumu (Maiden’s Beach) and the wrecks of an antique castle located on a tiny island in the bay. Here, you may join an optional jeep safari which brings you to the colourful little villages in the mountains and to the waterfall of Turgut Village. We will cruise towards Selimiye and anchor around Koca Island for the overnight stay.

    DAY 6: DIRSEKBUKU – BOZBURUN
We anchor in Dirsekbuku bay for a swimming stop where blue and green meet in perfect harmony. Then we will go to Bozburun which is a small fishing town. Overnight will take place in a nice bay around Bozburun.

DAY 7: KADIRGA or KUMLUBUK– CENNET ISLAND - MARMARIS
After breakfast departure for Kadirga or Kumlubuk bay which lies within the sight of Marmaris but is cut off from it by a forbidding set of Limestone Mountains. You will have lunch in a nice bay of Cennet Island. Overnight stay will be at Marmaris Harbor.

    Day 8: MARMARIS
    Disembarkation by 10:30 after breakfast.

  • Week sailing Bodrum - Gulf of Gokova - Bodrum

Didn't want to spend too much on our first ever Gulet holiday as we weren't sure if we'd like it. Loved the 7 day tour of the Gulf of Gokova and all in all it exceeded my expectations. Fellow travellers make the holiday special and we all got on very well with a mix of backgrounds, ages and experience. The itinerary was good, the food was good, the boat very clean and comfortable. Yes it was hot and humid in the cabins when no A/C was available but for me thats part of the attraction, as is it not being wheelchair friendly by scrambling on top of roofs for different sun bathing spots. Drinks are a bit pricey but I expected that and budgeted accordingly. I guess this goes towards wages etc anyway so happy to pay, helps to restrict consumption all round which can only be a good thing. Captain and crew all nice interesting folk, will definately go again

  • Gulet cruise through the North Dodecanese

    September of 2017
The Hemera is a nice yacht or Gulet. We took the North Dodecanese route. The boat travelled 3 to 4 hours a day. We lunched in secluded harbors then arrived at a new island in the afternoon for the overnight stay. Highly recommend it!

I went on a cruise with them in September this year and it was fantastic before this I did a cruise around Greece and Croatia in a non luxury ship so it was an amazing difference to have a luxury liner we had individual ensuite size showers and a room about 3 times the size of the other two ships we went on the staff were amazing they all spoke perfect English and there were a lot of staff on the ship for there annual holiday where on the ship with us and as locals were able to give us more information than usual the whole thing felt like a family event. The food was amazing my friend has a stomach condition and as just can not have dairy meat or breads and even though we didn't notify them before hand they were able to accommodate her at one point the owners went on a fishing trip and served it up to us!! That's fresh as!!! Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back again
