Sailing across the Alboran Sea to Melilla and return to …

Visit the autonomous city of Melilla crossing the Alboran Sea under sail.

We will leave Torrevieja to reach the port of Cartagena on the first day. It will be 30 NM in 6 hours of navigation, which will allow us to visit the city of Cartagena.

The second day we will reach Cabo de Gata. It is 75 NM in approximately 15 hours. We anchor to rest in Playa Genoveses, as an alternative we have the port of San José.

We will cross the Alboran Sea during the third day. They are 95 NM in approximately 24 hours, with three-hour night watches.

We will enter the port of Melilla on the morning of the fourth day to rest and visit the Citadel. Shopping, afternoon and overnight in port.

During the fifth day, the ship will remain available in port, including the overnight stay. We will wait for the most favorable wind to cross the Alboran Sea.

We will make the return by the reverse itinerary to that of the outward journey.

The actual situation of the land border with Morocco is unknown. In no case will the ship touch Moroccan territory.
