We can sign up for the cruise regatta (World ARC), which lasts 18 months, or do it on our own on the same dates and same route and thus save the more than €20,000 that registration costs.
It is a very safe family regatta in which families usually go, even with their small children. Not in vain, the objective of this activity is to mix sailing with leisure and free time. The passion that competition gives off favors teamwork and, therefore, that we enjoy the activities as a group.
The World ARC covers a total of 26,000 nautical miles and will complete a route that has already been done on ten previous occasions, with considerable success due to the good reception that the ships have in each port. In it, sailors get to know various cultures and enrich their knowledge of the world: the wonders of the Galapagos, diving with tropical fish, the palm tree atolls, the Brazilian Carnival, the temples of Indonesia, safaris, Napoleon's prison, the Great Barrier Reef... And much more.
About thirty boats take part in the regatta. Such a small number allows all sailors to get to know each other and live together as a family. In total, there are about 400 people of all ages and countries who came together to participate in the World ARC.
