Sailing in Sardinia from the Maddalena Park to the Asinara Park

Departure from Marina di Portisco, in the heart of the Costa Smeralda, aboard a comfortable and spacious 14-meter Bavaria 46, equipped with all the ideal equipment for a cruise. The journey begins with a first taste of elite Sardinia, between crystalline waters and breathtaking landscapes.
We will sail through the islands of the Maddalena Park, exploring Spargi, Budelli, Caprera, Santa Maria and La Maddalena. This extraordinary archipelago offers an incredible sea where the pink of the granites blends with the transparent blue of the water. There will be plenty of stops at anchor to enjoy relaxation or in the characteristic ports of the archipelago.
We will continue with a sail towards Corsica, exploring the smaller islands of Lavezzi and Cavallo, fascinating natural sculptures of pink granite framed by white beaches. The trip includes a visit to Bonifacio, a suggestive port nestled in a fjord, famous for its mysterious charm and the legendary Strait of Bonifacio, a windy and exciting stretch of sea.
The route will then take us to the Asinara National Park, an uncontaminated island shrouded in mystery, where time seems to have stopped 150 years ago. Thanks to the limited number of boats and the strict rules of environmental protection, this unique place remains an oasis of peace even in high season. Here we will have the opportunity to discover rare species of Mediterranean flora and fauna and immerse ourselves in the complex and fascinating history of the island, surrounded by surprising natural beauty.
The holiday will end with the landing in Porto Torres, a lively and well-connected location, perfect for the return or to continue the discovery of Sardinia.
On board you will be accompanied by me or one of my collaborators: an expert skipper, FIV offshore sailing instructor, ready to offer you a unique experience.

Boarding in Portisco Costa Smeralda on Bavaria 46 cruiser to sail towards the Maddalena archipelago with its wonderful islands with possible stops in Caprera, Maddalena, Santa Maria, Spargi, Budelli and then Corsica and its smaller islands such as Lavezzi and Cavallo. Subject to availability we will stop at the port of Bonfacio. From here we head towards the Asinara natural park where we will stop at least two nights and arrive in Porto Torres, a lively town well connected for the return.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english, french and italian)

To bring on board:
• a soft bag that can be folded to hold things
• a sleeping bag or sheet and pillowcase,
• a pair of shoes with clear, clean rubber soles for use on board only,
• sunscreens
• towel
• something waterproof (you never know)
• fleece or sweater if it's cooler
The common cash expenses vary according to the habits of the crew but on a sailing holiday you use as little fuel as possible, a few stops at anchor in addition to being a fascinating moment is also cheaper than the port. Some places or typical restaurants are worth it but we can always choose individually. In general on a boat you have everything you need to experience a wonderful holiday. The almost total autonomy is one of the positive aspects of being on a boat.
