Join us in the Caribbean for winter sun sailing as she works her way north through the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea. Spend 10 days sailing and exploring these beautiful turquoise waters and island hopping your way from Tobago to Martinique.
Your holiday will begin on the island of Tobago, the smaller of the two islands of Trinidad and Tobago and is known for its glorious sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and beautiful tropical rainforest. Scarborough is the capital port city, home to the 18th-century ruins of Fort King George, and now home to the Tobago Museum. Tobago is rich with wildlife and is home to over 230 species of birds; its closeness to the mainland makes the island an ideal stopover point for migratory birds.
From here you will sail north and island hop to islands such as Grenada, St Vincent, St Lucia and finally finishing in Martinique. There is no fixed itinerary for your sailing holiday so there is no guarantee that you will reach all the islands listed as we will need to sail where the wind and weather take us. The Skipper will have a better idea of the holiday plan as you come aboard and will give a briefing on your first evening.
The beauty of being on a ship in these breathtaking islands is that we can take you to the unspoilt, authentic Caribbean, away from the busy resorts and beaches. Experience true Caribbean culture, from small fishing villages to lively, colourful carnivals. The crew will aim to give you time to explore the islands as you wish, finding harbours to berth at and secluded bays to anchor in. Feel the sand between your toes, soak up the wonderfully colourful Caribbean culture, snorkel with the fantastic marine life or simply kick back and relax on the beach.
