Plan
JUNE 21
We will meet at the Port Olimpic in Barcelona at 4:00 p.m. The presentations will be made, our captain will explain all the details and we will organize the joint purchase of food and drink, we will distribute the cabins and we will sail north of Menorca. The great blue will wait for us! We will enjoy the sunset sailing and the immensity of the stars. It is also common for dolphins to visit us during the voyage.

JUNE 22ND
We will arrive to the north of Menorca in the morning and we will go to Cala Pregonda to anchor in its crystal clear waters, lunch and a refreshing bath in this beautiful cove near the Cap de Cavalleria. In the afternoon we will go back to the port of Fornells, where we can enjoy a good dinner and a walk through the town.

JUNE 23
In the morning and after a good breakfast we will go to Ciutadella where we will arrive at noon, but not before stopping in a corner and enjoying a good swim. In Ciutadella we will prepare to go ashore to enjoy the Fiestas de Sant Joan. Hundreds of horses will fill the city everywhere and in procession will go down to Es Pla, where they will celebrate "Els Joscs Des Pla". It is a picturesque spectacle where the riders show their skill riding at a gallop between a corridor that opens between the crowd, launches at the ready, to try to link a small ring.

JUNE 24
In the morning, and while we restore forces from the previous night, our skipper will head south of Menorca, to anchor and visit coves such as Son Saura, Turketa, Macarella and Macarelleta, where we will enjoy crystal clear waters with incredible ranges of colors, white sand beaches surrounded by pine trees and rugged vegetation. We will bathe, snorkel and we can also walk along the beach, or simply relax in the sun. We will take advantage of this incredible cove of Macarella to spend a magical night at anchor.

JUNE 25TH
On this day we will just discover the south; Coves like Trebaluguer, Escorxada or Binibeca await us. In the afternoon we will go to the port of Mahón, where we will spend the night. This port is famous for being one of the largest natural estuaries in the world. It is worthwhile to enjoy looking at the landscape, while sailing through the bay.

JUNE 26TH
In the morning we will head north of Menorca, more specifically towards illa Colom, where we will sleep. It is a nice little crowded place and it is close to beautiful coves like Tortuga or Presili.

JUNE 27TH
Last day on the island and we still lack coves to discover as Cavalleria, Es Pilar or Algaiarens, so we will get up early to enjoy these corners. At dusk we will head towards Barcelona contemplating the sunset on our port side.

JUNE 28TH
Once back in Barcelona during the trip, we will enjoy the immensity of the sea, the sunrise, the baths on the high seas and the dolphins. We will arrive in Port Olimpic (Barcelona) in the early afternoon to finish a week that you will always remember.

LIVING AND LIVING ON BOARD OF A SAILBOAT

At the beginning you are a bit on the lookout, you meet a number of people who do not know anything, it is normal, but you will see that after the presentations and with the first activity in common, the purchase of food and drink, with Some of you already seem to be lifelong friends and once on board again, with the first hours of navigation, dinner and the guard, when you get to the Islands we are all a great family.

During our stay in the sailboat we will have to help at specific moments to the skipper in some maneuvers, both on the way out and on the return during the night crossing we will distribute the guard, any crew member can do it without difficulty.

There are always those who are more involved and interested in navigation, it is a good time to learn to navigate and at some point you can take the helm under the supervision of the skipper.

Remember that we will be a team, we will make meals, we will put and collect the table, we will maintain the common areas of the sailboat ordered and stowed, to avoid trips, breakages and falls of objects to the sea, we do not usually distribute tasks unless the crew so indicates, In a natural way everyone is involved.

Very important aspects:

Savings in fresh water consumption. The water tanks are limited and if we are going to refuel we will lose a lot of time.
When using the WC you have to follow the instructions for use, never throwing paper or anything else that can muffle it.
Do not get wet inside. This way we can prevent possible slips.
Remove the sand on the feet and towels before getting on board when we return from the beach.
Avoid climbing with shoes that could damage or stain the cover.

Sailing on a sailboat is very good for our mood, it is an injection of vitamins and a load of positive energy, it means putting the rhythm of your life at the speed of the wind and I assure you it is incredible. Your stress, your problems are left on the ground, your mind opens up and you will enjoy as never before the sunsets and sunrises, the baths and the direct contact with nature. Enjoy it and enjoy it will be an unforgettable experience.
