The Las Perlas archipelago is located 35 nautical miles from Panama City, south of the hurricane zone, so we can sail there safely year-round. No kitty, fixed price! We usually anchor alone in secluded bays or on the leeward side of uninhabited islands.

Sanblascat is located half an hour by car from Tokumen Airport, Panama City (PTY), at the entrance to the Panama Canal.

Our catamaran measures 16.8m×8.1m and glides through the sea without rolling; the larger it is, the less movement and seasickness (the Pacific Ocean was named this by Balboa in the 16th century because the wind usually comes from the land (NE) and therefore there is little swell).

We've been sailing here for many years and know all the most beautiful beaches and snorkeling spots! We live permanently on board – you can experience our lifestyle without significant financial risk! What you choose to visit is entirely up to you!

Full board includes fresh, locally caught fish, slow-roasted beef, beef Stroganoff, seafood from local fishermen, poultry, self-service tropical fruit in nets, and delicious fresh vegetables and salads – we love to cook! Lemonade, iced tea, coffee, water, tea, and ice are complimentary. Freshly baked sourdough whole-grain bread is served for breakfast! (I'm a restaurateur from Vienna and have sailed my catamarans through the Red Sea, Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Pacific.)

Airy cabins with queen-size beds, large single and double berths, two trampolines on deck for sunbathing and relaxation, even at night under the stars – not a luxury catamaran. Experience our lifestyle without significant financial risk!

Please bring your own alcoholic drinks (buy them at a supermarket or duty-free shop); we'll provide the ice cream!

We sail from the anchorage (30 minutes by car from PTY Airport, Tokumen) to Las Perlas, 200+ islands and visit a different island every day:
Mogo Mogo where Surviver was filmed, St. Telmo with the oldest submarine wreck in the world (built by a German engineer in New York in 1865), Isla Gibraleon known from the reality show Swiss Family Robinson.

In December, January, and February, we observe whale sharks, and the bravest ones swim with them! Humpback whales can be seen almost year-round. We snorkel among the large schools of fish in the Pacific and have a blast!

The exact route always depends somewhat on the weather, we will be happy to send you the information about the planned route by email.
We would also be happy to try to take your wishes into account.

Unique, adventurous, beautiful. Every waking up, every arrival was magical. For about eight days, we didn't see a single other sailboat, anchoring alone in the bays except for two times. If you love camping (no luxury yachts and no crowded shore excursions), unspoiled nature, good food, and snorkeling, you'll love this trip!

Thank you, it was a pleasure having you on board! Your guitar playing with the whole crew singing was absolutely unforgettable! Your watercolors of the blooming islands were totally impressionistic. Come back soon!
