  • Vacation on the water
Saturday afternoon - Boarding in Denia. Crew reception, presentations, distribution of boats, briefing on the trip, rules for coexistence and safety and provisioning of the boat for the whole week. With the employer's instructions, we will prepare the shopping list and go shopping at a supermarket. On the way back we will stow everything properly. At night, around 12, after having dinner in the port, we will set sail for Ibiza with destination Cala Compte. We will sail all night (from 12 to 14 hours). The crew will make guards during the journey, in pairs and in turns, under the instructions of the skipper.

We wake up approaching Ibiza, Cala Compte, where we will spend the rest of the day, swimming, beach, nap and in the afternoon, we will see the magical sunset in one of the beach bars. We will see one of the sunsets that are among the most beautiful in the world. There we will meet, on the beach, the crews of all the boats to see it. Then we have a drink in one of the beach bars.

After breakfast and a morning bath in its crystalline waters (we can take the opportunity to see fish among the rocks or go diving into a small cave, we head towards the Ensenada de Aubarca. It is a little visited cove which is very, very difficult to access from land. It is surrounded by high cliffs and is a splendid natural setting and almost exclusively accessible by boat. There we will bathe, snorkel and eat. We will visit one of its caves in the pneumatics. After eating we set sail for Sant Antony from Portmany to anchor in its bay. In the pneumatics we go ashore and we will go to the Café del Mar to watch the sunset. Then we will have dinner at the Villa Mercedes restaurant. After dinner it is our opportunity to visit the city of Ibiza. We suggest having a drink at the Pereyra theater café, a mythical place in Ibiza with live music and free admission, then those who still want to go can go to Keeper, Pachá or some of the other clubs.

In the morning we sail sailing towards Cala d'Hort, in front of the Es Vedrá islet, where we will anchor, eat and bathe. After eating we set sail towards the nearby Cala Jondal (if the surf and wind conditions allow it), to have a drink at the Blue Marlin, a trendy beach bar with beautiful people and an Ibiza party. It is an afternoon venue where after having a drink, we will return to dinner on the ship.

We set sail early to the famous mud baths on the island of Espalmador. Espalmador is a small island that separates Ibiza from Formentera. It is famous for its mud baths and for its wonderful Sa Alga beach. We are in the Ses Salines Natural Park, so we must make an effort to leave the environment as we found it when we arrived, without being noticed that we have been there. The island is not inhabited. We cannot leave garbage on the island. Later, while we contemplate the luxurious yachts anchored in front of Illetes and some fantastic sailboats, we head to anchor in Cala Saona in Formentera to eat, where we will bathe in its crystalline turquoise waters. Cala Saona has the best waters in the entire Mediterranean. This small cove is one of the most beautiful and luminous that can be visited. In Cala Saona we will spend more than 24 hours, until after dinner on Thursday. Free time. We have Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning and afternoon free. You can take advantage of and rent motorcycles, cars or bicycles to tour the island or enjoy its crystal clear waters and snorkel. A good option, on Wednesday afternoon, is to visit the Mola lighthouse, a magical place where Jules Verne was inspired. We must not stop visiting the La Mola market. Every Wednesday and Sunday, from June to October, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Fira de la Mola hosts artisan workshops and creators work with different materials such as wood, silver, stone ... as well as booths where you can buy very diverse and high quality handicrafts. There is a great atmosphere and live musical performances are often offered. If we do not have practice or we are not comfortable riding a motorcycle, we can rent a car among several, to avoid accidents. If we have stayed on the boat, we can have a mojito at a beach bar in the cove while watching the sunset. In the evening we will meet on the beach or on one of our boats.

We will visit on the motorcycles or bicycles rented from the previous day what we will have left of our tour of Formentera. We can visit Illetes, Salinas or the Cap de Barbería lighthouse, for example. In the afternoon, for sunset, we will go to the hotel in the cove where if we wish we can have a drink while watching the live performances they offer.

In the early morning, around 1 or 4 in the morning, we set sail for Denia to arrive in port in the early afternoon. Once ashore, we showered and groomed the whole group for dinner in one of the restaurants near the port. Then disco and / or drinks in the same leisure area of the port to avoid driving.

At 8 in the morning, farewell and end of the journey and our wonderful boat holidays to Ibiza and Formentera and end of our services. We must leave the boat as soon as the cleaning and maintenance teams begin to prepare the sailboat for the following crew, who arrive in a few hours.

A unique experience that you have to live. Well organized, fun and with the direction of Maria Jose who knows how to communicate and explain what is necessary during the journey. Fully recommended and necessary after you have your PER to know what life on board is and start practicing in the real world beyond the unreal theory that makes you study at the PER.

Fully recommended, they have been very enjoyable and complete practices, life on board is very pleasant since it is a large, spacious and fully prepared boat. As for the professionals who make it possible to carry out the internships, say that they have thought of all the details. In my case, Simón was our Skipper, a very attentive person, he has constantly helped us, transmitting confidence, solving a sea of doubts that arose throughout the journey.
Without a doubt, I will count on María José and her team to carry out future practices and activities.

Instructors: We have the extensive experience of Simón, a skipper of height who did not overlook any detail without explaining. María José also accompanied us during the journey, complementing the training with numerous tips.

Boat: 50 foot sailboat in very good condition, 4 spacious cabins with their own bathroom. Very comfortable deck to learn and navigate.

PY Course: Very positive experience, where we learned to navigate in various weather conditions. Two night sailing and motor cruises where we were able to learn how to orient ourselves in the dark and organize watches and courses.
