In this journey we propose a long navigation from Castellón to San Antonio de Portmany in Ibiza, followed by a tour of the west coast of Ibiza, the islands of the Freus and the west and south coast of Formentera to return along the same path.
During our tour we will practice sailing, reviewing all the concepts of trimming, steering the boat and maneuvers at sea, including anchoring, launching an auxiliary boat, taking buoys ... We will plan our routes based on the wind and the weather and we will follow them with the help of electronics or by means of letters, compass and esteem.
And, of course, we will have plenty of time to contemplate wonderful landscapes, anchor in dreamy coves, bathe in crystal clear waters and snorkel in Posidonia seabed.

  • Plan
On the first day we will leave early from Grao to sail to San Antonio trying to follow the best possible route sailing. In this section we will do navigation exercises to familiarize ourselves with the use of the plotter, we will follow an estimate that we will correct when necessary and, for the most advanced, we will try to make an approach to astronomical navigation.

On the second day and after spending the night in San Antonio, we will calmly leave for Cala d'Hort, our second stage, where we will anchor before lunch and spend the rest of the day in front of Es Vedrá, with a magical sunset and one night peaceful.

We will leave in the morning towards Espalmador, where we will arrive at noon on the third day and we will moor to a reserved buoy to spend there the afternoon of the third day and the entire fourth day, which will elapse between visiting the island, bathing and snorkeling, and fun exercises security.

On the fifth day of tomorrow we will cross the west coast of Formentera towards Cape Berbería and we will double it to approach lunch on the southern beaches of the island, returning in the afternoon to Caló d'Olí, where we will spend the night.

On the sixth day we will make the way back to San Antonio, stopping at Cala Tarida at noon to arrive in the afternoon at our port, where we will spend the night to leave the next day for Grao.

Yacht captain and PPER with extensive experience in crossings and regattas. I enjoy sailing in almost any situation, relaxed on vacation or competitive of regattas. I do not care about the bad weather or sleep little or anywhere but I detest the problems of coexistence on board.

Boat details

Boat that combines comfort with good speed benefits for its length. Like all First, it defends its rating well for its hull design, a good size stick that supports a large sail area compensated by a daggerboard that lowers its draft to 2.35 m, and symmetrical spi. Although it is not comparable to a Swan type racer, its interior comfort makes up for it, offering good habitability. It plays a more than worthy role in regattas and offers good comfort for long stays on vacation.

Saludos y enhorabuena a Queco y Luis
