Embarkation and Disembarkation in the Royal Marina of Valencia.
Boarding day: Saturdays in June at 6:30 p.m.
We go sailing around 10:00 p.m.
Disembarkation: the following Saturday at 08:00. We arrived at the port of Valencia on Friday afternoon around 5:00 p.m. and that night we slept moored in port.
Ibiza and Formentera are ideal islands to spend a summer vacation sailing, anchoring in coves, enjoying the sun, the sea and nature.
Saturday afternoons (6:30 p.m.)
We embarked in the Royal Navy Juan Carlos I of Valencia. We will do the reception of the crew, presentations, briefing on the trip, rules of coexistence and safety, and the provisioning of the ship for the whole week. Next, with the help of the pattern, we will draw up the shopping list and go to a supermarket to make it. On the way back we will stow everything properly. At night, around 10/11 p.m. and after dinner on the boat, we will set sail for Ibiza bound for the western part of the island.
We will sail all night. Among the crew we will make guards during the crossing.
We wake up approaching Ibiza, specifically to the west, where we will eat and spend part of the day. We will take a bath, enjoy the beach, take a siesta and, in the afternoon, we will see the magical sunset from the beach.
At sunset we will leave, we will change the cove where we will anchor and spend the night.
The following days, Monday and Tuesday, we will visit many more coves in Ibiza and if we feel like it, we can also visit the city of Ibiza.
On Wednesday morning we will go down to Espalmador beach and then we will anchor in Ses Illetes (Formentera). Considered one of the 10 best beaches in the world.
On Thursday we will enjoy Cala Saona in Formentera and we will be able to tour that beautiful island by motorcycle.
From that cove we will start the journey back to Valencia.
The idea is to arrive on Friday afternoon at the Royal Marina of Valencia (around 5:00 p.m.)
On Friday we will sleep moored in the Marina of Valencia and we will be able to enjoy the best nightlife in Valencia that is concentrated in the vicinity of the port.
On Saturday at 08.00 we will have to leave the ship so that the cleaning team can do their job and the ship can be ready to receive some new crew members that same afternoon.
