If you’re looking for something more than the typical vacation, this cabin cruise through Zanzibar and Pemba is exactly what you need. It’s a journey into some of the most beautiful and unspoiled corners of the world, blending freedom, relaxation, and discovery. Forget about crowded resorts and rigid itineraries—this is an adventure shaped by the rhythm of the sea and the spirit of exploration.

Why Zanzibar and Pemba?
The Zanzibar Archipelago is a dream destination, but it’s more than just stunning beaches and turquoise waters. Zanzibar itself is full of history and life, with local villages, busy markets, and cultural treasures like Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

And then there’s Pemba. Known as the "Green Island," Pemba is a place where you will discover real wild beauty. African forests, remote beaches, and small, traditional communities make it feel untouched by time. It’s an island of adventure, perfect for those who want to go beyond the beaten path and explore something truly undiscovered.

Together, Zanzibar and Pemba offer a mix of experiences that’s hard to find anywhere else. From snorkeling in crystal-clear waters to walking through local villages and wild forests or simply relaxing on secluded sandbanks, there’s something here for everyone.

The Catamaran Experience:
Imagine waking up each morning to a new view—whether it’s a quiet bay, a vibrant beach, or an untouched island. That’s the magic of our cruise. Onboard a modern catamaran, you’ll have everything you need to feel at home while exploring these incredible destinations.

The double cabins are comfortable and air-conditioned, with private bathrooms for added convenience. Meals are freshly prepared by the onboard chef, and whether you’re dining under the stars or enjoying a morning coffee on deck, every moment feels special.

And the best part? You don’t need to worry about a thing. The experienced crew, including a captain and deckhand, takes care of all the details—from navigating the waters to making sure the yacht is spotless. Your job is simply to relax and enjoy the adventure.

An Itinerary Full of Discovery:
Over seven unforgettable days, you’ll experience the very best of Zanzibar and Pemba. Start your journey with a visit to iconic spots like Kendwa, known for its golden sands and vibrant atmosphere, or Prison Island, home to giant tortoises and fascinating history.

As you sail north to Pemba, the adventure deepens. Stop at Njao Bay to meet locals and get an insight about life in a remote island community. Explore Ngezi Forest, a lush, green paradise filled with wildlife and stunning coastal views. At Misali Island, snorkel in vibrant coral reefs or relax by a bonfire on the beach—a perfect way to end the day.

The journey continues to Mnemba Island, a pristine snorkeling and dolphin-watching haven, before wrapping up with a visit to Nakupenda Sandbank and the historic streets of Stone Town. Each day brings something new, with plenty of time to relax, explore, and soak in the beauty around you.

Who Is This For?
This cruise is for travelers who want more from their holidays—more adventure, more discovery, and more freedom. It’s for people who love the idea of waking up in a new place every day, exploring wild and beautiful landscapes, and connecting with different cultures.

Whether you’re a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a solo traveler seeking inspiration, or friends ready for a shared adventure, this cruise offers something truly unique. You don’t need any sailing experience—just a sense of curiosity and a love for the extraordinary.

If you’re ready to trade predictable vacations for something extraordinary, this is your opportunity. Zanzibar and Pemba are waiting to show you their magic. Are you ready to step aboard?

    Day 1:
Check-in at 5:00 p.m. on the catamaran at Azam Marina (near the Verde Hotel) in Zanzibar. Introductory evening before sailing from the marina to a nearby island (20-minute cruise). Overnight stay on the catamaran near the islet of Chapuani.

    Day 2:
After breakfast, around 9:30 a.m., visit Prison Island (entry tickets $7 per person). Prison Island is one of the most famous historical sites in Zanzibar and a reserve for giant tortoises, with the oldest being about 120 years old! After the tour, cruise to Kendwa, one of Zanzibar’s most popular towns, known for its restaurants and tourist attractions. Kendwa Beach is considered one of the best in Zanzibar (cruise time approximately 5.5 hours). The captain will sail close to the shore so you can admire Zanzibar’s beauty from the water. Overnight stay on the catamaran in Kendwa.

    Day 3:
At dawn, while guests are still sleeping, the captain will set sail from Kendwa towards the northern part of Pemba Island (cruise time approximately 10 hours). Around 2:30 p.m., you’ll arrive at the bay near Njao Island. Keep an eye out for flocks of feeding dolphins and surfacing whales as you approach.
Later, take a trip to a local village in the bay for a unique opportunity to see how some communities live. Dinner and overnight stay on the catamaran in the bay next to Njao Island.

    Day 4:
Enjoy a free time in the morning. We encourage you to wake up early to visit Ngezi Forest and the beach on the northern coast of the island. We can assist in organizing transport, as it can be challenging in Pemba. Around 1:00 p.m., the cruise to the deserted island of Misali will begin (4-hour cruise). The island’s only inhabitants are the vervet monkeys. In the evening, relax by a beach bonfire and spend the night on the catamaran near the island.

    Day 5:
In the morning, continue exploring Misali and enjoy snorkeling on nearby reefs. Around noon, set sail south towards Pemba, heading to Jombe (4-hour cruise). Relax and sunbathe on the numerous sandbanks. Overnight on the catamaran between the many small islands in Jombe.

    Day 6:
Begin the morning with a cruise to Mnemba Island (5-hour cruise). There are rumors that the island is owned by Bill Gates. Mnemba is also one of the best spots for snorkeling and dolphin watching in Zanzibar. At sunset, return to Nungwi, another popular tourist town in northern Zanzibar. Overnight on the catamaran in Nungwi.

    Day 7:
In the morning, set sail back towards Stone Town (5.5-hour cruise). Along the way, stop at Nakupenda Sandbank, one of the most popular sandbanks in Zanzibar. Afterward, visit the historic old stone city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight on the catamaran in Stone Town.

    Day 8:
In the morning, return to Azam Marina (0.5-hour cruise), where the trip will conclude. At 9:00 a.m., say farewell to the crew and disembark. For those heading to the airport, we offer assistance with transportation. If you plan to extend your stay in Zanzibar, we will help arrange transport and ensure safe journey to your hotel.
