Experience the Mediterranean finale of our half-world tour: From Lisbon to Málaga – the great adventure between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean!
With our large and fast Hanse 575 GALINI, we sail along the fascinating Iberian coast. We follow the classic route from the Portuguese capital to the Andalusian Costa del Sol, experiencing spectacular landscapes and the intense life on board with a harmonious crew.

Our GALINI successfully participated in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) last year and meets all safety requirements of this sailing rally. This means she is equipped and tested for demanding cruises according to the highest international standards.

Highlights
• Lisbon – Start in the legendary seafaring metropolis, last Atlantic memories
• Cascais – Elegant seaside resort and marina, Portuguese flair
• Lagos – Spectacular rock formations on the Algarve coast
• Faro/Ria Formosa – Unique nature reserve with lagoons and birdlife
• Cádiz – Europe’s oldest city, pure Andalusian culture
• Gibraltar – Legendary Rock, Gateway to the Mediterranean
• Marbella – Glamorous Costa del Sol, luxury marina Puerto Banús
• Málaga – Finale in the cultural capital of Andalusia, birthplace of Picasso

territory
In May, conditions are ideal for coastal cruises along the Iberian Peninsula: The route takes us from Lisbon south along the Portuguese coast to the stunning Algarve. Here, we experience spectacular cliffs, golden sandy beaches, and charming fishing villages. After crossing into Spain, we sail along the Andalusian coast—past whitewashed villages, Moorish influences, and the vibrant Costa del Sol. The route is known for its consistent winds, warm temperatures, and Mediterranean lifestyle.

  • Plan
Our Mediterranean adventure begins in Lisbon at the beginning of May. After boarding, a detailed safety briefing, and a joint provisioning session, we'll use the time to get to know the crew and prepare the ship for the coastal passage. We'll first sail to Cascais, the elegant seaside resort just outside Lisbon. The route then takes us south to the Algarve – with possible stops in Lagos with its famous rock formations or Faro with the unique Ria Formosa.

On the way to Spain, we pass through Cadiz, one of the oldest cities in Europe, before sailing through the Strait of Gibraltar into the Mediterranean – an unforgettable experience! The final stages take us along the Costa del Sol, past Marbella with its glamorous Puerto Banús, to our final destination, Málaga.

Our Galini is cruising the world – and you can be part of the Mediterranean finale! With us, you're not an anonymous guest on a standard itinerary, but part of a real crew discovering new horizons together. We're not a classic charter company that runs the same tour every week. Instead, we sail together, experience true boating life, and embrace the adventures the sea has in store for us.

Climb aboard a beautifully equipped, lovingly maintained boat and enjoy something special: Nothing is off-the-shelf with us. Every trip is unique – sometimes spontaneous, sometimes planned, always full of surprises. Unplanned experiences are just as much a part of it as relaxing days on deck. Want more than just sailing along? We'll take care of the technical aspects and day-to-day operations on board, so you can get involved in all areas and become a part of life at sea. Our trips combine vacation, adventure, mindfulness, and real boating. Become part of our crew – authentic, collaborative, and full of adventure!

    Wind & Climate
In May, ideal sailing conditions await us along the Iberian coast:
    • Wind: Often north to northwest, 3–5 Bft. (10–20 knots)
    • Air temperature: 20–26 °C during the day, mild nights around 16–18 °C
    • Water temperature: 18–21 °C
    • Sea: Mostly moderate swell under 1.5 m, sheltered bays
    • Weather: Mostly sunny and dry, occasional north winds (Nortada)

    What’s special about our trip
Our yacht isn't just a charter boat for the masses—you'll be part of a real crew exploring new horizons and creating an unforgettable adventure together. We don't sail a standard weekly itinerary; instead, we experience authentic long-distance cruising and embrace everything the sea has in store.

Every trip is unique: sometimes spontaneous, sometimes fully planned, always full of surprises. The focus is on working together, experiencing technology, mutual support, and experiences that go beyond a simple vacation.

You want to do more than just be there?
You can actively participate in all areas of life on board: technology, navigation, sailing maneuvers, provisioning, or simply experience the real "boat life" on an ocean-going cruiser.

Our modern and comfortable Hanse 575 awaits you with four double cabins and a skipper's cabin—each with its own bathroom and electric toilet. Comfort and self-sufficiency are ensured by:

Every day I am thankful for this beautiful life. I would like to share that. Normally, as an organizational developer, I accompany companies in change processes. When it comes to sailing, I want to contribute to making this adventure more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Boat details

Our yacht, a Hanse, stands for a comfortable and outstanding experience. It gives you a feeling of spaciousness, a calm atmosphere and offers the freedom you need for your activities. Nevertheless, it is fast, sporty and has great sailing performance. It was designed by Volvo Ocean Race Designers and is the fastest yacht in its class.

The large cockpit offers enough space for pleasant get-togethers and long conversations with a breathtaking panoramic view. On the sun deck you can be alone, take the time to read a book or enjoy the nature around you. The skipper's cabin has its own entrance. Even if you are supported by a professional crew, you still have your privacy.

The yacht is a modern Hanse 575. It has 4 double cabins and a cabin for the skipper. Each cabin has its own bathroom with electric toilet. Starlink, multi media, air conditioning, generator, 230 V in all cabins and Nespresso coffee machine. Solar panels, radar, AIS, watermaker, washing machine, bathing platform and a dinghy with an electrically powered outboard motor. Comprehensive safety and navigation equipment as well as many other equipment that you need to be self-sufficient.
The perfect yacht that meets the highest standards of safety, design, sailing characteristics and comfort.
