This cultural maritime route is linked to food and wine and nature. Through this tour on board a sailboat we will be able to know the wonderful landscapes and panoramic views of the Arousa estuary, using augmented reality devices that will show us improved views from different points. A splendid journey through the culture of the sea and wine in this Galician enclave!
The epicenter of Albariño wine is probably located in the town of Cambados, in the Valle de O Salnés region. This town treasures one of the best preserved historical complexes in the region, as witnessed by its many pazos, monuments and streets. White wine (which has its main point of reference in DO Rías Baixas) and its Galician acid point are present in all its corners throughout the year, reaching their highest levels in early August thanks to the Albariño DO Rías Wine Festival Baixas, the most important wine celebration in Galicia.
A mandatory stop on the journey is a visit to the birthplace of Ramón María del Valle Inclán. It is located in a beautiful 19th-century manor house, now converted into a museum as a dedication to the writer born in Vilanova de Arousa. Within its walls we can take a tour of the life and work of the creator of the grotesque, great dramatist of Spanish literature.
In addition to these important claims, the route will also allow us to see several of the fishing villages of the Arousa estuary, such as Boiro and Pobra do Caramiñal
