Christmas Regatta CN Santa Pola

On Saturday there will be the Christmas Regatta organised by the Santa Pola Yacht Club. On Sunday morning, for those who want to sail all weekend, we will set out on the RO 340 in the bay of Santa Pola.

Schedules:
☆ Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
☆ Sunday: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

In this event we will participate in the regatta on Saturday and on Sunday we will practice the maneuvers that we will perform on the day of the regatta.

If you come from far away you can have a complete nautical weekend racing in the bay of Santa Pola and the Island of Tabarca, being able to spend the night on the boat.

You will race on the RO 340, with an instructor who has been in the world of racing for over 30 years. You will have the experience of sailing in a race together with other local boats. You will actively participate in tacking, gybing, taking marks, starting, etc. We adapt to your level and we ensure that you will leave with learned maneuvers and concepts.

Event program:

Friday:

Reception for participants who book a night on the boat for the event at 8:00 p.m. at the Marina Miramar, located in the center of the port of Santa Pola. Cabins will be assigned and then you can go buy food and drinks for this nautical weekend at a nearby supermarket.

On Friday night you can visit Santa Pola and you will have the Paseo Adolfo Suárez nearby with good restaurants and a great atmosphere on weekends. You can choose to have dinner on the boat or in a restaurant.

Saturday:

At 10:00 we will meet at the boat to go out racing and at approximately 14:30 we will return to port for the trophy presentation.

Sunday;

At 10:00 we will meet at the boat, we will go out to practice and explain the maneuvers performed in the regatta.

At 2:30 pm we will return to port, ending this event.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

☆Independent double cabin if you book the option to sleep on the boat. Cost per person per night €30.

☆Parking: Marina Miramar has paid parking and you can also park in the nearby streets with a little patience.

It has been a very positive and interesting experience. Carlos is a very experienced skipper and also very pedagogical. Very attentive to everyone. We were only able to do it on Saturday and with a lot of wind. On Sunday we couldn't go out because of the storm. I hope they return the proportional amount to me.
