Easter sailing discovering Capraia

Spending Easter in the crystal clear waters of the Tuscan Archipelago is an experience to fully enjoy.
During the stylish holiday we will try to sail as much as possible, also to make guests learn the basics of navigation, trying to convey my true passion for sailing. In fact, it is not necessary to have experience to participate in this weekend, just the desire to collaborate and discover new things!
All this accompanied by relaxation and good food and the discovery of wonderful places that only our seas can offer us.
It is possible to vary the departure dates or extend the weekend by a few days. Contact the skipper and let's see the options together.

Plan

Friday: departure from the port of Cecina by 11:00. We sail for 5 - 6 hours and if possible, we drop anchor before entering the port in some coves (Mortola cove, Porto Vecchio cove). Lunch and dinner on board.

Saturday: during breakfast we decide together about the day whether to go trekking or a boat trip.
If we decide to go trekking, we can visit the former penal colony or for the more trained you can reach the sighting towers, packed lunch and dinner at the restaurant.
If we go out by boat we sail towards Cala Rossa one of the most suggestive coves of Capraia, we have lunch at Moretti in another cove and in the evening we return to the port or, if the weather permits, we spend the night at anchor.

Sunday: walk in the village and departure for Cecina at 12.

Boarding check-in: from 9 to 11.
Check-out landing: from 12 to 20.

In case of bad weather, we will decide what to do, always taking into account the state of the sea. Destinations may change based on the weather. So, if conditions permit, we can decide the various stages together.

Other information

- Included in the fee: skipper, cook, boat, final cleaning, fishing equipment.
- Excluded from the fee: meals on land, transfers to the port.
- Extra expenses: galley, moorings, fuel. (from 0 to 50 euros).

The port can be reached by car with parking inside, safe and free of charge, or by train, the station is only 2 km from the port.

Do not bring trolleys on board but comfortable bags to store. Bring sheets and a sleeping bag, a towel, and winter clothing (windbreaker or oilskin, gloves, shoes with white soles to be used only on the boat). Children can come aboard.

On board the kitchen Monica is the cook and companion of the skipper, the galley must include the skipper and cook.
