We set sail from the Bay of Cádiz to live a real ocean sailing experience. We will cross the Gulf of Cádiz heading to one of the most magical and authentic destinations on the Portuguese coast: the Ria Formosa Natural Park and the picturesque port of Olhão.

Olhão is the capital of the Ria Formosa Natural Park. It is famous for its Arabic-style architecture and its waterfront market. We will eat the best seafood in the area there and then we will sail to Culatra Island, where we will anchor to enjoy a peace that no longer exists elsewhere in the Algarve.

We will sail aboard a Beneteau Oceanis 393 Clipper, a 12-meter sailboat renowned for its robustness and incredible habitability.

Comfort: 3 large double cabins and a spacious living room finished in hardwood.

Safety: Equipped for high altitude navigation (Zone 2 - 60 miles) and maintained to detail.

Space: Large deck bath to enjoy the sunsets and the navigation guards.

No previous experience is required. If you want to learn, you can participate in maneuvers, sail trimming and route planning. Food, drink and fuel expenses will be managed through a common fund between crew members (the skipper is exempt).

Other information
All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

WHAT DOES YOUR PLACE INCLUDE?

✅ Professional skipper with extensive experience in the area.

✅ Occupant and boat insurance.

✅ Mooring in the marina of Olhão.

✅ Final cleaning.

On board the ship, we promote a participatory and relaxed environment. Although I'm in charge of safety and navigation, I love sharing my knowledge with the crew. If you want to learn how to steer the wheel, understand nautical charts or trim sails, this is your place!

The trip to Olhão is perfect for disconnecting from the noise; once we enter the Ria Formosa, the rhythm is set by the tide and the wind.

What to bring:

- Suitcase: Please bring only soft bags (easy to stow). Rigid suitcases damage the wood inside and take up too much space.

- Footwear: Nautical shoes or sneakers with clean white soles for exclusive use on board.

- Clothes: Even if it's summer, it gets cooler at night in the sea. Bring a windbreaker or technical jacket. If it's winter, outerwear or technical clothing.

- Extras: Sun cream (not spray), sunglasses with cord and mobile phone charger (USB).

Expenses not included:

For food and drink, we will make a joint purchase before leaving.

I recently sailed from Cadiz to Portugal and it was fantastic. Martín was an excellent skipper and a great companion. I'll remember this trip for his seamanship and all the laughs with my fellow sailors. Thank you.
