We sailed from CN Garraf before 09:00 heading directly to the Gulf of Sant Jordi, on the north face of the Delta.
The crossing does not reach 60 miles so we will arrive in time to anchor and spend the night. During the crossing we always have the coast in sight: Vilanova, Tarragona, Salou, l'Ametlla.
After breakfast on board, we set sail to sail along the outside of the Delta until we bend the Tortosa lighthouse; We crumble to the other bay, south of the river, Els Alfacs.
We eat in a beach bar with exclusive access by boat: the available probe is very little and the restaurant taxi service comes to pick us up at our boat.
In the afternoon we enjoy sailing through this wide bay, also with calm waters; we can see the abundant fauna that populates it and, if there is luck, see its typical flamingos. We anchor all night in this spectacular and protected bay.
After having breakfast on board, we set sail, not later than 9:00 am, heading to l'Ampolla, bordering the ex-exterior of the Ebro Delta in the opposite direction. We want to arrive at a good time to dock in the beautiful port of this town and eat on board.
In the afternoon, we go out for a walk and enjoy the place that surrounds this town, for example, the amazing “Pots of the Delta” or, simply, getting lost in the paths between rice paddies of this Natural Park (there is the possibility of renting bicycles for this purpose ).
After a restful night in port, tired of the previous day, we set sail quietly from the Ampolla heading back to Garraf. We hope to enjoy a magnificent sailing with the typical wind that is never missing in this area of the east.
We will arrive at the end of the afternoon in time to collect everything and leave the boat clean for the next crew.
