In this cruise-regatta course we will practice regattas, and we will also participate in the "Jubilatas Cup 2019" regatta, organized by the Burriana Yacht Club.

The JUBILATA'S CUP is a regatta of social and sports interest included in the calendar of the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community and COPA RANC DE LA COMUNIDAD VALENCIANA

It is aimed at all people who want to start or improve, in the practice of the sailing cruise as well as in regatta.

We will impart it in our Baltic sailboat of 42 feet very equipped and prepared for regattas and cruising of height.

The course will be taught by a professional Skipper and Captain of the Yacht, Oceanic sailor and sailor (four Atlantic crossings, two of them in regatta), with more than 35 years of experience.

Plan

The program of the course would be the following:

FRIDAY
18: 00h - Crew reception at the Burriana NPP, allocation of cabins.

SATURDAY
09: 00h - We will give the theory of the maneuver and tactics for the regatta, we prepare the boat and the crew for the regatta
11: 00h - Departure to the sea, checking the starting line, race and tactical field
12: 00h (approximately) - First test output
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Popular barbecue.

SUNDAY
10: 00h - Departure to the sea, training
11: 00h - Exit tests
14: 30h - Lunch (Paella popular) and end of the course

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

It is possible to spend the night on the boat throughout the weekend.

No previous experience is necessary.

Equipment necessary to participate in the course: sleeping bag, non-black rubber-soled shoes, sailing gloves.

The places of the course are limited for a maximum of 7 students on the boat, to perform the maneuvers with comfort and safety.

The price of the course is € 275. Includes fuel, moorings in port, and meals of the organization according to the program. It is not included the food on the boat (snacks and drinks) that will be bought at the neckline before each departure, or any concept not specified.
