Sailing trip to Mallorca from Barcelona

Good morning, adventurous sailors!

Would you like to sail for a weekend from Puerto del Masnou to Mallorca? It will probably be to Sa Calobra and Soller or, if the winds are favorable, we can reach the Isla Dragonera nature reserve, and then port de Andratx.

It is a journey of about 200 nautical miles between going and returning, where we can enjoy and learn while we sail and share very good moments. We will be able to swim in a cove and share meals on board with the rest of the crew.

Plan

Departure on Friday afternoon, between 5:00 and 6:30 p.m., after having gone to the supermarket next to the port to buy the food and drink needed on board.

The menu for lunch on board will be simple but delicious, such as a good plate of pasta on Saturday, and cod stew or marmitaco on Sunday.

At around 3:00 pm on Saturday we will have arrived at our destination where we can spend a few hours visiting Dragonera Island or the spectacular Sa Calobra, depending on which way the wind is more favourable.

At 11:00 pm we will weigh anchor and set sail again towards Barcelona.

Estimated time of arrival on Sunday, approximately 18:00.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

We will put 50 euros per person for food and moorings.

Hello, I am Domingo, PPER or professional captain, I have been sailing for many years, I have owned several sailboats, and I also teach nautical classes. This past summer I have worked with a Bali 40 catamaran, but what I like most is sailing with sailboats and sailing along the Catalan coast or to the Balearic Islands.

The sailboat is fully equipped to navigate the Mediterranean, with AIS, radar, radio beacon, life raft for 10 people, autopilot, solar panel. Approved to navigate in zone 2 60 miles from the coast. Sailboat completely restored with new ropes and sails. Kitchen and refrigerator, and consists of four double cabins and two bathrooms.
