XXXV JOSE QUILES PARREÑO TROPHY. Saturday and Sunday.

The Santa Pola Yacht Club is organizing the José Quiles Parreño Trophy. One regatta will be held on Saturday and on Sunday we will sail around the bay of Santa Pola, practicing maneuvers from the previous day and rotating positions.

You will race on an RO 340, guided by an instructor who has been in the racing world for over 30 years. You will have the experience of sailing in a race together with other local boats. You will actively participate in tacking, gybing, etc. We adapt to your level and we ensure that you will leave with learned maneuvers and concepts.

Event program:

Friday:

Reception for event participants at the Miramar Marina in Santa Pola. Cabins will be assigned and you can then go and buy food and drinks for this nautical weekend at a nearby supermarket.

On Friday night you can visit Santa Pola and you will have the Paseo Adolfo Suárez nearby with good restaurants and a great atmosphere on weekends. You can choose to have dinner on the boat or in a restaurant.

Saturday:

At 10:00 we will meet at the boat to take part in the regatta and assign positions for manoeuvres. Once the regatta is over, the trophies will be presented at the Santa Pola Yacht Club.

Sunday:

At 10:00 we meet on the boat to review the previous day's maneuvers.

This event will end at 3:00 p.m.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

☆Parking: Marina Miramar has paid parking and you can also park in the nearby streets with a little patience.
☆ A racing license is required. If you do not have one, we will provide one for you at a cost of €13 for this regatta.
☆ You can stay overnight on the boat for an additional fee of €30 per person per night.

It has been a very positive and interesting experience. Carlos is a very experienced skipper and also very pedagogical. Very attentive to everyone. We were only able to do it on Saturday and with a lot of wind. On Sunday we couldn't go out because of the storm. I hope they return the proportional amount to me.
