Join us for an unforgettable week along the east coast of Sardinia, where one of the most spectacular and challenging treks in Italy and Europe awaits you: the "Selvaggio Blu". Every day we will tackle breathtaking routes, with an average difference in altitude of about 600-700 meters and a hiking commitment of about 6 hours, immersed in extraordinary natural landscapes. Our base will be a welcoming sailing boat of over 15 meters, equipped with 5 spacious double cabins, for a comfortable and relaxing stay between one adventure and another.
7 or 8 day program depending on the date chosen:
- Day 1. Arrival day, meeting at the port of Marina di S. Maria Navarrese at 6:00 pm, where we will have a briefing to learn more about the stages of the trek, the boat maneuvers and to check the equipment. We will each settle into our own cabin that will host us for the entire tour.
- Day 2. On the morning of the first day, the boat will take us to the starting point of the trek at Pedralonga. Although we will already be in the heart of Selvaggio Blu, it will be a day of warming up and discovering the Sardinian coast. After a climb, Punta Giradili, of about 700m and having reached a karst plateau with an expanse of rocks of furrowed fields, we will arrive, after about 4/5 hours at Monte Ginnirco, our destination of the first day from where we will return to the boat. Eventually, if there is time, we can organize a climb on the famous walls of Pedralonga or at the cliff of Marina di Santa Maria Navarrese (various difficulties from 4c to the more classic grades 5b/5c and more).
- Day 3. We resume our trek with a high altitude route, tackling short cliffs overcome on the descent on sturdy juniper roots, used as a ladder and a small bridge. After having overcome a 50-meter wall to overcome with partially equipped climbing (grade 3c), we will head towards the suggestive rocky fjord of Portu Pedrosu. Here, we will embark on the tender to reach the sailing boat that will be waiting for us anchored, ready to offer us a refreshing swim or a shower on board.
- Day 4. The spectacular Cala Goloritzé and Cala Mariolu will be the destination of the third day. Having landed at Portu Cuao on the sharp rocks of the cliff, and having resumed trekking, we will pass some classic sheepfolds with an uphill difference in altitude of about 600m, admiring up close the Aguglia di Goloritzé or Punta Carioli, one of the most famous Sardinian climbing points. We will continue along the Boladina path, passing a short cliff and reaching Cala Mariolu. The blue water will leave you speechless and thanks to the sailing boat as a base camp, moving briefly, we could spend the night under the famous limestone obelisk.
- Day 5. Fantastic day of sailing to Cala Mudalaru, which will allow us to pass a long rocky bastion overlooking the sea. We will sleep in this breathtaking bay nestled in the vertical walls of the cliff.
- Day 6: Depending on the sea conditions, we will disembark in one of the bays on the coast in the morning. After climbing a ridge of about 300 meters, with easy climbing sections (grade 3c) on a system of ledges and rope descents, we will finally arrive at the wonderful Cala Sisine, where we will share the conclusion of the Selvaggio Blu. We will get back on the boat and head, perhaps pushed by the wind with a nice sail, to the Marina of Santa Maria Navarrese.
- Day 7: After the last night on the boat, we will organize to disembark at 10:00, reach the airport and fly home, taking with us unforgettable memories of this extraordinary adventure!
- Day 8: If the program is 8 days, "Day 7" will be a reserve day to possibly complete the trekking or for a pleasant day of sailing, in which case the disembarkation will take place on "Day 8" at 10:00.
The trek is also available in the "Selvaggio Blu Plaisir" version, a soft program ideal for those who want to explore the trails without tackling the technical sections of abseiling and climbing. This version of the trek will be confirmed with a minimum group of 2 participants.
