Sailing trips from Port Olimpic (Barcelona)

Sail for 3 hours departing and arriving at Port Olímpic in Barcelona.

Objective: To move from theory to action. In this activity, you will stop being a passenger and become an active part of the crew, learning to master wind and water through direct practice.

What will we do during the activity?

Rigging and Tuning. You won't just see the ship; you'll learn how to prepare it. We'll assemble the sails, check basic ropes and knots (such as the guide ace), and check safety systems before releasing ties.

Rudder Sensitivity. You'll take the control to feel how the ship responds to your movements. You will learn to maintain a fixed course and to coordinate the rudder with the position of the body to balance the boat.

Hunt and Long: The Trimming of Sails. You will learn to “read the wind”. We will practice how to tighten or release the necks so that the sails take the perfect shape according to the navigation angle, always seeking maximum efficiency.
Maneuver
Choreography: We will practice the two queen maneuvers. The Turn: Change direction by crossing the bow in the wind with agility. The Trasluchada: Turn past the stern through the wind in a controlled and safe manner.

Docking and Real Security. We will finish with the maneuver to approach the pier, calculating the boat's inertia for a smooth berth, and we will simulate safety protocols so that you know how to react to any unforeseen event.
