You can easily reach Stockholm from many airports in German-speaking countries without a layover and within a few hours.
Summer, archipelago, lake and sailing experience
We begin by exploring the rocky archipelago off Stockholm. Here in the tranquil coastal waters, evocative moments create perfect holiday memories. The vastness of the sea invites you to experience the ship as a haven of peace and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. Whenever you wish, you are welcome to actively participate in the ship's operations – our experienced crew will show you every step and enthusiastically provide a fantastic sailing experience.
The archipelago off the mainland, a picturesque, rocky skerry, offers a wealth of options for planning your sailing trip. The itinerary is designed to allow ample time for port visits or peaceful moments at anchor. Lively harbors or secluded bays – open sea or wooded shores: scenic diversity is guaranteed, and the next idyllic anchorage is never far away. A night at anchor in a sheltered bay is a highlight of any trip and a true seafaring adventure!
The gentle, steady rise and fall of the ship in the waves, the vastness of the sea, and the soft creaking of the rigging are the perfect ingredients for a relaxing holiday. The calming uniformity of the sea replaces the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As everyone knows, the rolling waves and the fresh sea air work up an appetite – so look forward to our excellent onboard cuisine, which consistently receives top marks in our customer satisfaction surveys. Prepare to be amazed!
Next stop: Åland Islands
The port and shipping city of Mariehamn is the maritime and cultural center of the Åland archipelago.
Discover the "city of a thousand linden trees," which has much more to offer than just its numerous avenues of trees: shops, restaurants and cafés, as well as beautiful nature and architecture. Explore the city center by strolling along Torggatan or by exploring the parks and green spaces.
With the most sunshine hours in Scandinavia, Åland offers long days on the beach and the red cliffs, as well as relaxed cycling, hiking, and kayaking tours. Visits to the Bomarsund fortress and the impressive Maritime Museum are also worthwhile.
The museum exhibition includes the legendary sailing ship "Pommern," where the visitor experience "100 Days Under Sail" transports you back to the 1930s and takes you on a fictional circumnavigation of the globe. Sights, museums, medieval churches and galleries, lighthouses and islands, hiking trails and observation towers, cafés, restaurants, and farm shops are the pearls of Åland waiting to be discovered.
End of trip in Stockholm
Your relaxing summer days on the Baltic Sea are now behind you. After a week between sky and sea, you say goodbye to the crew and your fellow travelers in Stockholm.
Here ends a journey that offered plenty of variety through a balanced mix of time under sail, relaxing shore excursions, and idyllic anchorages. We disembark with a sea bag full of memories.
