CHAPTER. VENICE
Sometimes a journey doesn't begin with a plan,
but with a moment.
A winter morning in the Venetian Lagoon.
The water is calm, and a fine mist hangs over the city.
Our boat glides slowly through the quiet lagoon between the islands.
The world seems more muted here.
No summer heat, no large yachts,
only the faint sound of the water against the hull.
We sail between small islands and deserted channels.
Burano, Torcello, San Francesco del Deserto – places that seem almost timeless.
In the evening we anchor in the lagoon.
The city lights are reflected in the water, while night slowly falls over the rooftops of Venice.
And then, on the last evening of the year,
Our boat is in the lagoon.
The bells begin to ring.
Fireworks rise into the sky above the city.
A new year begins.
A chapter one never forgets.
Come aboard.
The next chapter begins in June.
