Classic skippered schooner rental in La Manga

Charter with skipper of a beautiful traditional rigged schooner. Day or half-day trips around the Mediterranean or the Mar Menor. Departures throughout the year.

During navigation, you sail and passengers can participate by helping to hoist the different sails, taking the helm, etc. Some boats offer "sailing" trips, we offer "sailing" trips.

It is a very attractive activity, both for sailing enthusiasts, who enjoy learning first-hand how to handle gaff sails and schooner rigs; and for a group celebration, or a family with children.

The boat usually anchors for a while to eat or swim.

The rate from October to May is €450 and from June to September is €650.

Departure from 10:00 a.m./12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m./8:00 p.m.

Boarding and disembarkation takes place at the port of Tomás Maestre, in La Manga.

The Mediterranean tour may include Grosa Island, Farallon, Bajo de la Campana, Escull de la Raja or Cabo de Palos, depending on the duration of the tour and the wishes of the passengers.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

There is also the option of renting a half-day boat for a shorter 4-hour cruise, usually on the Mar Menor. The price for this trip is €350 from October to May and €450 from June to September. On this 4-hour afternoon trip, you can enjoy a romantic sunset ride. A toast with cava and a fruit basket are included in the price!

Free parking is available very close to the boarding point.
Passengers bring on board food and drinks of their choice. 11 people (including children) + skipper is the maximum allowed.

Boat details

An accessible classic sailboat. Recently built schooner, with a design inspired by the pilot's boats of 150 years ago. Wood-epoxy hull, Oregon pine masts, iroko wood deck, gaff sails and traditional rigging.

Its equipment and comfort is similar to that of any modern sailboat of the same length. It has three double cabins, a spacious living room, two bathrooms, hot water, a kitchen with a large-capacity fridge, USB plugs for chargers, a stereo, an outboard pneumatic boat, a cockpit table, etc.
