Sailing down the Guadalquivir on a sailboat from Puerto Gelves

Come and enjoy a peaceful stroll along the Guadalquivir River from the port of Gelves.

We will sail for 3 hours passing by the Coria promenade and Puebla del Río, being able to explore a little-traveled area of the Guadalquivir.

On this trip you will enjoy the river and the nature hidden within it. You can also learn how to handle the sailboat during the trip and get a good first contact with nautical life.

Plan

We set sail from Puerto Gelves at 10:00 in the morning.

We sail downriver south to Puebla del Río. You will learn to pilot a sailboat by interpreting the river current and helping with mooring maneuvers if you wish, to gain practice and get in touch with the world of sailing.

Once we arrived at Puebla del Río, we turned north again.

We return to the port of Gelves, where we will arrive at 1:00 p.m.

Boat details

Beautiful fast and safe sailboat, perfectly conditioned for ocean crossings, it has 2 complete cabins, 1 independent bathroom with toilet, shower and sink, living room for 10 people, complete kitchen with 2 refrigerators and fully equipped, clear and wide deck to take the sun and enjoy the sea as well as a comfortable and safe bathtub to enjoy sailing or eat with views of a beautiful cove... it also has a bathing platform with access to the sea and a bathing ladder to enjoy a good bath.

The boat includes pneumatic and outboard as well as all the regulatory safety equipment, this being reviewed annually as well as the boat itself, carrying out routine and exhaustive controls of it and its equipment.

The boat is always skippered by the owner and an assistant sailor.
