Sailing on our over 100-year-old windjammer is like a cozy journey into the past – combined with the comfort and safety standards of the present.

From the very first minute, our friendly crew, consisting of permanent sailors and trainees, will take care of your well-being on board, provide for your meals and offer advice for an exciting shore excursion.

Sailing operations are carried out in the traditional, manual way; nothing happens "at the push of a button" here on deck. You are welcome to participate in sailing activities at any time, entirely on a voluntary basis. You can even take the helm yourself, keep the course, tie nautical knots, climb the mast, and enjoy the unique view from the bowsprit. Our competent, permanent crew will provide expert and safe support in all weather conditions. Of course, you are also welcome to simply relax, enjoy the thrill of sailing with the power of the wind, observe nature, count nautical miles, and forget about everyday life.

For longer journeys, stopovers are usually planned at short notice and – whenever possible – taking your wishes into account.

This way, you'll experience a sailing trip as a pleasant maritime blend of adventure and comfort, of participation and enjoyment. You'll always be well catered for, as all our travel packages include full board (excluding soft drinks and alcoholic beverages).

Without exaggeration: This will be one of the most beautiful sailing trips in the Baltic Sea region!

Never before in its 115-year history has our ship ventured further northeast than on this voyage. On this summer cruise between Finland and Estonia, we will explore the scenic coastline of the Gulf of Finland. Days at sea will alternate with nights spent in sheltered anchorages or in port.

Depending on wind and weather conditions, stops along the coast are planned, including opportunities to go ashore. The sailing trip ends in the heart of Tallinn, one of the most attractive seaside cities in the Baltics. Enjoy relaxing days on board – no prior sailing experience is necessary to join the journey on this tall ship.

    Boarding here:
Helsinki, Finland's capital on the Baltic Sea, combines clean Nordic architecture with abundant nature. The compact city center is easily explored on foot. The city's landmark is the snow-white cathedral on Senate Square, surrounded by neoclassical administrative buildings. Nearby are the Esplanadi shopping street with its parks, boutiques, and cafes, and the lively market square at the South Harbor, where local specialties and crafts are sold.

For an impressive view over the city, head to the Ateljee Bar viewpoint at Hotel Torni or the platforms at Observatorioberget. Art and architecture enthusiasts can visit the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art or the Kampin Chapel of Silence. A trip to the Design District, with its Finnish design, galleries, and modern architecture, is also worthwhile.

    This is where you disembark:

Tallinn, Estonia's capital on the Baltic Sea, combines well-preserved medieval architecture with a modern metropolis. The Old Town, surrounded by a city wall, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and can easily be explored on foot. Raekoja plats features the Gothic Town Hall and narrow streets lined with merchants' houses and warehouses, remnants of the Hanseatic League.
A short climb leads to Toompea Hill, home to the Russian Orthodox Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and St. Mary's Cathedral. From the viewpoints, there are panoramic views over the red rooftops and the harbor. Also worth seeing are the historic city walls with defensive towers like "Long Hermann" and the Rotermann district, where old industrial buildings now house design shops, restaurants, and galleries.

It was great to have the excitement of sailing a square rigger whilst at all times feeling secure and safe, thanks to the crew, (even when out on the yardarm).
