Cruise to the Medes Islands by sailboat from Barcelona

Night sailing, crystal clear waters and one of the most spectacular marine ecosystems in the Mediterranean.

Escape for a weekend and discover the Costa Brava from a different perspective: the sea.

On board our sailboat we will sail to the Illes Medes, one of the most important marine reserves in Europe and a true biodiversity sanctuary. Its transparent waters, protected seabed and abundant marine life make this enclave an essential destination for any sea lover.

The adventure begins with a night trip from Barcelona. We will sail under the stars, moving away from the rhythm of the city to enjoy an authentic deep-sea sailing experience.

During the weekend we will explore the Medes Islands, enjoy snorkeling sessions in crystal clear waters and visit some of the most beautiful coves on the Costa Brava before returning to Barcelona.

Three days to disconnect, learn, sail and discover one of the most extraordinary corners of the Mediterranean.

Plan

Day 1 · Friday · Night Sailing.

- 18:00 h · Crew meeting in Barcelona.

- Presentations, cabin distribution and food stowage.

- Safety and navigation briefing.

- 21:00 h · Departure to the north.

- Night cruise to the Medes Islands enjoying the starry sky and the unique experience of sailing at night.

Day 2 · Saturday · Illes Medes.

- Expected arrival to the Medes Islands around 08:00 h.

- Day dedicated to discovering one of the most important protected marine areas in the Mediterranean.

- Time for snorkeling, swimming and observing marine life

- In the afternoon we will look for shelter at the Port of L'Estartit or at a nearby anchorage, depending on the weather conditions.

- Sunset and night in a privileged environment on the Costa Brava.

Day 3 · Sunday · Calas de la Costa Brava and back.

- Sailing back to Barcelona.

- Stop in a cove on the Costa Brava to have breakfast, take a bath and enjoy the last hours of the trip.

- Arrival at the base port in the afternoon.
