Regatta University of Oviedo from Gijón

This regatta is organized by the University of Oviedo and the Real Club Astur de Regatas, for cruise class boats

It is celebrated in two days by coastal waters of Asturias, specifically from Gijón. It will have the participation of the best cruise ships in the city.

The objective is to participate in a cruising sailing regatta and develop navigation and sail trim skills. We will have the opportunity to learn, improve and/or refine our knowledge. We will learn to raise and lower the sails in the safest way, trimming them to make the most of the wind. We will see the different types of sailing that exist.
