Depending on wind, weather, and the course of the trip, we sail on a watch system. Everyone on board is involved in navigation, weather observation, sailing maneuvers, and ship handling. The tidal planning, traffic separation schemes, and heavy shipping traffic in the English Channel make this trip particularly interesting from a navigational perspective.
Prior yacht sailing experience is advantageous but not required. Team spirit, reliability, and a willingness to actively participate in onboard life are essential. This trip is suitable for anyone who wants to log sea miles, deepen their knowledge of tidal and coastal navigation, or explore a challenging sailing area.
