From St. Martin, we sail south through the Lesser Antilles to Martinique. The voyage takes us past bustling island capitals, hidden anchorages, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean – from the divided twin island of St. Martin, through the sophisticated dream islands of St. Barthélemy and the volcanic landscapes of St. Kitts and Nevis, to the natural paradise of Dominica, and finally to the flower island of Martinique.

Crystal-clear water, warm trade winds and the relaxed Caribbean lifestyle accompany us throughout the entire journey – a picture-perfect sailing trip.

Highlights:
We decide on our stops in ports and anchorages together. We are a crew that plans the route according to preferences, wind and weather.

St. Martin — two cultures on one island, the starting point of our Caribbean adventure

St. Barthélemy — Gustavia, French flair and dream beaches

St. Kitts & Nevis — volcanic mountains and traces of the colonial era

Antigua — 365 beaches, one for every day of the year

Guadeloupe — Butterfly Island with rainforest and waterfalls

Les Saintes — a picturesque archipelago with Caribbean charm

Dominica — a natural paradise with hot springs and Champagne Reef for snorkeling

Martinique — the flower island with Mont Pelée, vanilla and rum

Precinct:
The Lesser Antilles stretch from the Virgin Islands to the coast of Venezuela. Our sailing trip takes us through the Leeward Islands from St. Martin to Martinique. The islands lie within the trade wind belt, in a tropical to subtropical climate: air temperature year-round 25–29 °C, water a constant 24–25 °C. The northeast trade winds blow steadily at force 4–5 – sailing pleasure is guaranteed.

The best and driest time to travel is between November and April. The people are friendly and open-minded, and the Caribbean lifestyle of reggae, rum, and good cheer is omnipresent.

  • Plan
Our Caribbean sailing adventure begins on St. Martin – the divided island with Dutch and French sides. After embarkation, provisioning, and a safety briefing, we set sail and head south.

Even the first stop is a treat: In Gustavia on St. Barthélemy, we anchor among chic yachts and boutiques, soaking up the French atmosphere. Next, we head to St. Kitts and Nevis, where volcanic mountains and traces of the colonial era await us.

Via Antigua with its legendary 365 beaches – one for every day of the year – we reach Guadeloupe, the Butterfly Island with its dense rainforest and roaring waterfalls. We anchor in Les Saintes, one of the most beautiful bays in the Caribbean.

A highlight of the trip is Dominica: We snorkel over the volcanic bubbles of Champagne Reef and relax in the island's hot springs. Our journey concludes in Martinique, the flower island with the volcano Mont Pelée – here, vanilla, rum, and Caribbean joie de vivre await, before the trip ends in Le Marin.

Approximately 350 nautical miles, mostly beam reach and broad reach courses on the classic trade wind route south. Sailing experience is welcome, but not required. The onboard languages are German and English.

For those collecting miles for their next sailing license: Since we'll be sailing through the Lesser Antilles from north to south on this trip, you'll log plenty of nautical miles. Of course, we'll issue you an official mileage certificate at the end of the trip.

Our yacht travels the world – and you can join us! With us, you're not an anonymous guest on a standard route, but part of a real crew, discovering new horizons together. We're not a typical charter company that sails the same tour every week. Instead, we sail together, experience authentic boat life, and embrace the adventure the sea has in store for us.

Climb aboard a superbly equipped, lovingly maintained boat and enjoy something special: With us, nothing is off the rack. Every trip is unique – sometimes spontaneous, sometimes planned, always full of surprises. Unplanned experiences are just as much a part of it as relaxing days on deck.

Want more than just a sailing trip? We'll take care of the onboard technology together, and you can lend a hand if you like. You can turn your holiday cruise into a real experience on a long-distance cruising yacht and become part of life at sea.

Our sailing trips combine vacation, adventure, mindfulness, and authentic boating life. Become part of our crew and experience a special time on Galini – authentic, communal, and full of adventure.

Every day I am thankful for this beautiful life. I would like to share that. Normally, as an organizational developer, I accompany companies in change processes. When it comes to sailing, I want to contribute to making this adventure more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Boat details

Our yacht, a Hanse, stands for a comfortable and outstanding experience. It gives you a feeling of spaciousness, a calm atmosphere and offers the freedom you need for your activities. Nevertheless, it is fast, sporty and has great sailing performance. It was designed by Volvo Ocean Race Designers and is the fastest yacht in its class.

The large cockpit offers enough space for pleasant get-togethers and long conversations with a breathtaking panoramic view. On the sun deck you can be alone, take the time to read a book or enjoy the nature around you. The skipper's cabin has its own entrance. Even if you are supported by a professional crew, you still have your privacy.

The yacht is a modern Hanse 575. It has 4 double cabins and a cabin for the skipper. Each cabin has its own bathroom with electric toilet. Starlink, multi media, air conditioning, generator, 230 V in all cabins and Nespresso coffee machine. Solar panels, radar, AIS, watermaker, washing machine, bathing platform and a dinghy with an electrically powered outboard motor. Comprehensive safety and navigation equipment as well as many other equipment that you need to be self-sufficient.
The perfect yacht that meets the highest standards of safety, design, sailing characteristics and comfort.
