Experience the Canary or Greek islands in one of our 1- or 2-week sailing holiday trips.

For 2026, we will be in Tenerife (Canary Islands) in the winter and in Crete (Greece) in the summer. We organize sailing holidays in our sailing areas of Greece and Tenerife with a Dutch partner.

Plan

In Tenerife we sail, depending on wind and weather, to La Palma or Gran Canaria.
The island of La Gomera is also a popular destination.

There are two options for our 2-week trips.
1. A round trip around La Gomera - La Palma - El Heiro and via Gran Canaria back to Marina Amerilla - San Miguel.
2. Or you can go directly to Gran Canaria and then on to Marina Rubicon on Lanzarote. There, or on La Palma, we can explore the island by rental car.
From Lanzarote we sail along the south coast back to Gran Canaria and Sant Cruz on Tenerife.

We return to the marina by 2 p.m. Friday at the latest.

In the evening we invite you to enjoy the captain's dinner in our favorite restaurant with food prepared on a hot Asian plate (Tenerife).

These are vacation cruises with a sailing emphasis. We'll cover approximately 300 nautical miles, with perhaps one or two overnight trips. Along the way, we'll be able to practice a few catamaran maneuvers. Plenty of time for relaxing, sunbathing, and swimming.

During the winter months, the Lagoon 42 Janny is in Tenerife. The temperature there is between 22 and 29 degrees Celsius, and the water temperature is also very pleasant at 21 to 25 degrees Celsius. You fly to Tenerife South Airport and, after a 20-minute taxi ride, board the Lagoon 42 Janny catamaran in the San Miguel de Abone Marina.

Other information

The skipper for this activity speaks english and german. To participate you must speak one of the languages spoken on board.

For Tenerife, fly into Tenerife South Airport. A taxi (max. €25) will take you to the marina in 15 minutes. We have been assigned a berth at Pier G. Walk directly to the left in the marina. Walk past Piers A, B, etc., until you reach the pier. We are located at the end of Pier G.

Additional costs include the onboard cash and 50% of the fuel costs. Bed linen is provided, marina fees are included at the marina exit, and final cleaning and tourist tax are not included.

Welcome to the catamaran Lagoon 42. The new generation of catamarans has even more comfort and is even better and easier to drive for charter customers. With the rig offset sternwards and the narrow mainsail, the Lagoon is easier to turn and when turning, the self-tacking jib automatically runs over a traveller rail to the new leeward side. Even when there is little wind, the 126 m² Wingaker headsail provides a lot of performance and can be sailed from downwind to upwind. During development, the focus was on reducing the unnecessary weight: injection processes for hulls with lower weight and the central arrangement of all heavy elements (stern centered rig, chain locker, water tanks, etc.). Nevertheless, the catamaran Lagoon 42 is not a lightweight, but it is rock solid.
