Friday:
At 7.30pm, check-in at the Club Náutico de Castellón. Instructions on the crossing, life on board and safety, Navigation Theory and, later, dinner organized by the Captain. We sleep in our cabins with heating.
Saturday:
30 mn - We set sail at 7:00 a.m. heading for the Columbretes Islands. As it will be nighttime, we will see the port in its nocturnal appearance, we will recognize the lights and we will leave through the Port Traffic Depot. We will have breakfast on board. Here we will put into practice the Navigation Theory learned the day before and we will learn to govern the main controls of the sails (the Sheets). We arrive at about 1:00 p.m. We will eat on board and, in the afternoon, we will lower the Dingui and go on an excursion to inspect the neighboring islands, where we will see remains of war artifacts during the tests carried out by the American and Spanish Navies. We will return to prepare dinner and, later, we will turn off the lights to adjust the vision to the night sky and we will chat with the Captain about Astronomy.
Sunday:
42 mn - We set sail at 7.00 am, have breakfast on board and head towards the Ebro Delta. Today we will practice the secondary sail controls (Sheet Carriages, Halyards and Backstay Tensioners). We will eat while sailing and, in the afternoon, we will anchor in the South Bay of the Ebro Delta and learn how to choose an anchorage and how to manoeuvre to lower and raise anchor. We will learn how to use the AIS and Radar.
Monday:
