Blended PER course in Vigo

Get your PER (Pleasure Boat Skipper) at an official nautical school approved by the Autonomous Community of Galicia.

ATTRIBUTIONS:

- Governing boats up to 15m in length.
- Navigate at a distance of 12 miles from the coastline.
- Inter-island navigation (Canary and Balearic Islands)

Requirements:
- To be 18 years old or more.
- Pass a multiple choice theoretical exam.
- Correctly pass a mandatory motor navigation practice (16 hours in total, there is no exam).
- Correctly pass a mandatory short-range radio operator practice (12 hours in total, there is no exam).
- Pass a specific psychophysical aptitude test for recreational boating qualifications (a psychotechnical test similar to that of the driver's license).

INCLUDES:
On-site Theory or Webinar (you can combine both) and the Compulsory Practices (Motor and Radio) to obtain the degree.
You have the option to add to the pack the complementary practice of sailing (enables you to govern sailboats) paying a higher cost.

Plan

Theory: 30 teaching hours in the classroom or at a distance.

- Compulsory motor navigation practice: 16 hours on a voyage.
- Mandatory short-range radio operator practice (VHF): 12 hours in approved simulators.
- Sailing practice: 16 hours in sailing regime (not included in the €600 pack).

You can do the practices during the course or after having passed the exam. The certificate of passing the exam and the certificate of practices are valid for 24 months.

Other information

This course is taught in spanish. You must have a sufficient level of this language to be able to follow the course.

The price includes:

- Classes with a teacher of 30 hours approx.
- Access to the Multimedia course during the course of the classes (where are the class notes and exercises; the agenda by slides with locutions and explanatory animations in case you want to review everything again on your own; exam models made in Galicia).
- Kit with material (square/set square, protractor, drawing compass, a nautical chart).

Does not include:
- Exam registration fees
- Expedition fees
- Specific Psychotechnical for Pleasure Boat Certifications
