Government: Improve government capacity by adapting technique to weather conditions. Dangers and advantages of each course according to sea and wind conditions.
Trim: Adjustment of the sails for each weather condition and type of navigation.
Mooring: Mooring techniques, use and function of each mooring line, crew organization.
Sailing with a reduced crew: Sailing alone or with two. Techniques to navigate with confidence both with a reduced crew and in case the skipper is the only one with nautical experience on board.
Crew management: How to command, teach and transmit safety and confidence to the crew on board.
Patronage: Summarizes the previous sections. Be self-sufficient on board to run the boat alone, manage the crew efficiently and calmly.
Trip planning. How to plan, which crossings to choose depending on the weather and the capabilities/desires of the crew, where to find information. How to prepare trips from home.
Weather forecast interpretation. Digital media, local conditions, precautionary criteria.
Life on board. How to manage and instruct the crew in electrical management, water reserves, fuel, ... Use of kitchen, bathrooms, cleaning, order, safe navigation.
Anchoring: How, where and precautions to anchor. Both in daytime anchoring and to spend the night. Electronic aids. Precautions with the neighbors.
