Introductory course to Regattas in Denia

Demand is high. Typically fully booked 19 days out.

Weekend of initiation to regattas on a modern and comfortable cruise/regatta yacht/sailboat, where you can discover the wonderful and exclusive world of sailing or put your sailing knowledge into practice and, in addition, enjoy the gastronomy and festive atmosphere of Denia.

We will learn sailing techniques as a team and the basic rules, rights of way and priorities, all while participating in a multi-round solidarity regatta in Denia and Jávea waters.

Plan

The base port is Portet de Denia, where we will embark on Friday afternoon/evening. After filling up for the weekend, we will go out to dinner at one of the many typical restaurants in Denia and attend a live music concert.

From Denia we will sail to Jávea, where the rounds of the regatta will be held between Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday night we will be able to participate in the dinner/party that celebrates the organization of the regatta at the Jávea yacht club.

Finally, we will disembark in Denia on Sunday at noon.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english, french and spanish)

The price of the activity is per place with accommodation in double cabins. It does not include registration for the regatta and the corresponding contribution to the solidarity cause, which is 40€.

For expenses (food/drinks on board, final cleaning and diesel if applicable) a common fund will be made between all crew members of approximately 25€/day.

There are fitted sheets and pillow covers but don't forget to bring a sleeping bag.
