Sailing course-cruise from Barcelona: Sail and learn during …

We hoist the sails and turn off the engine. This Easter, embark on a unique nautical adventure. For five days, the sailboat will be our home and sailing school. Whether it's your first time on board or you already have experience, this course is designed so that everyone can learn to be an active member of the crew depending on their level.

️Destination: The wind will decide At sea, we learn to adapt. Depending on the weather, we will decide: Balearic Islands, Costa Brava or Ebro Delta.

What will we learn?
✔ Route planning, navigation and weather.
✔ Sailing and motor maneuvers.
✔ Anchoring and life on board.
✔ Coastal navigation and port approach.

Who can participate?
This course is open to anyone who wants to experience a salty Easter, regardless of your level. Our crew is all about inclusivity, diversity and respect. All you need is a desire to learn and a spirit of adventure. Sailing a boat requires teamwork, so we will define the roles based on each person's level.

Plan

Indicative program (subject to weather conditions).

Day 1:
9.00am - Meeting at the Port Olimpic in Barcelona.
Welcome briefing and installation on board. Purchase and stowage.
Theoretical class on navigation theory and voyage planning.
Safety briefing and heading to our destination.

Day 2:
Dawn at our destination, anchoring and resting. Practice manoeuvring and coastal navigation while we move to a different cove to spend the night.

Day 3:
Waking up in the cove where we had a leisurely breakfast.
Coastal navigation to a nearby port.
We will take the opportunity to review the important steps when arriving at a port, port identification, radio, moorings, etc.
We will go ashore to stretch our legs and set sail again towards a cove to spend the night.

Day 4:
Waking up in the cove.
Theoretical review to be defined according to the level of the crew. Planning of the return trip. Sailing to a new cove for lunch. Free afternoon to enjoy the landscapes of the Balearic Islands before heading to Barcelona.

Day 5:
Arrival in Barcelona around 5pm.

Other information

The skipper for this activity speaks catalan, english, french and spanish. To participate you must speak one of the languages spoken on board.

I am a professional skipper and a high-altitude sailor, and together with my partner Martina, we form the only women's high altitude racing team in the A2 category of the Catalunya circuit. I really enjoy teaching and bringing people closer to the world of sailing. I'm waiting for you on board the sailboat this Holy Week to enjoy our wonderful Mediterranean Sea! “

The
variable costs of food, fuel and moorings depend a lot on the students, for the activity we think it could be about 80€ approximately.
