Become an expert sailor! We offer you complete and practical training that will allow you to fully understand how a sailboat works and the essential techniques for sailing safely and effectively.

This course is designed to offer you practical, personalised and accessible training. With a maximum of 4 participants per group, we guarantee individualised treatment for each one, which will allow you to practice in various situations and take on different roles on the boat.

This way, you will be able to live the full experience of being part of a crew, developing skills in both command and maneuvers.

This course is ideal for intermediate and advanced level sailors. If you already have some basic knowledge of sailing and want to improve your skills, this course will help you take your sailing experience to the next level. You will learn to cope with more demanding wind and sea conditions, improve your trimming technique, and perform manoeuvres more effectively and safely. If you are looking to improve your ability to sail with confidence and autonomy, this course is your chance to advance!

Course objectives:

Understand how a sailboat works and the crucial role of sails: Learn how sails work and how they influence navigation. You will understand the aerodynamics of sails and the theory of wind flows, two key concepts to become a high-level sailor.
Trimming sails in different conditions: We will teach you how to trim sails for different courses (upwind, across, broadside and downwind) and wind intensity. You will master trimming to optimize the performance of your sailboat in all circumstances.
Advanced Sailing: Learn to handle the sailboat upwind, downwind and in downwind winds. You will practice using reefs and battens to adapt to different wind conditions, ensuring maximum stability and speed at all times. We will practice tacking and gybing maneuvers to perform them safely in any situation.
Balance and comfort on board: Safety and comfort when sailing are essential. We will teach you how to balance your sailboat correctly so that it remains stable and easy to handle, even in the most demanding conditions.
Trimming maneuvers and use of winches and cleats: You will learn to perform efficient trimming maneuvers and correctly use winches and cleats, key tools for adjusting sails accurately and quickly.
Coastal navigation and anchoring manoeuvres: Coastal navigation has its own particularities. We will teach you how to carry out anchoring manoeuvres safely and how to plan your coastal route taking into account the variables of the environment.
Safety maneuvers on board: Safety is our priority. In this course you will learn essential maneuvers such as "staying aloft" and how to react effectively in emergency situations, such as a man overboard. You will be prepared for any contingency.
