La formación ROCA te prepara para la operación de la estación radio, es obligatoria para la obtención del título de PER. Su duración mínima es de 12 horas, de las cuales, al menos 8 horas serán prácticas con simuladores.

    En esta formación obligatoria de 12 horas, divididas en 3 bloques, conocerás las generalidades de las radiocomunicaciones en el Servicio Móvil Marítimo, el uso de los equipos radioeléctricos de un barco, los procedimientos del SMSSM y la reglamentación de las comunicaciones radiotelefónicas, tanto para las comunicaciones habituales como en situaciones de emergencia.

    La formación ROCA se realiza, mediante el uso de simuladores, en el áula de radio de nuestro centro del Port Olímpic de Barcelona.
