Croatia is ideal for skipper training: Mediterranean docking and mooring in harbors offer practical experience. Anchoring in bays allows for practice at various depths, and specific wind conditions require advanced sailing techniques and meteorology.
Our one-week skipper course is designed for experienced sailors who want intensive training in their maneuvering skills, thus being optimally prepared for charter trips, sailing excursions with a small crew, or other adventures. This practice-oriented course is tailored to the individual needs of the participants and includes, for example, a detailed introduction to taking over a vessel and using electronic navigation equipment.
For this course, we usually have standard charter yachts at our disposal, on board which a maximum of seven participants are trained.
Departure port: Trogir
Meeting point Saturdays 2-4 pm – Return Friday late afternoon to the departure port – Farewell Saturdays 9 am
You book a "friendly" skipper free of charge. If you're a beginner sailor, he'll offer you safety thanks to his sailing training.
Before departure, you'll do the shopping together to ensure you have enough food on board. The yacht's kitchen is also well-equipped.
Every sailing trip is well-prepared. However, spontaneous excursions and detours are always possible.
The crew decides together what they want to do, depending on the wind and weather.
Our skipper training courses require several hours of focused practice per day. They are designed as exploration tours. You'll reach a new harbor or bay every day and have the opportunity to learn new sailing maneuvers – always in a friendly atmosphere.
We're happy to share our expertise and take you to wonderful spots in the waters. But that's not all. You'll enjoy the mix of training, learning, and relaxing time with your crew. This is an easy way to gain expert knowledge!
