Mile Builder Bank Holiday Weekend

Mile Builder weekends are a great opportunity for all levels to gain miles and increase their racing skills. We start with a safety brief and try and get on the water as quickly as possible and get the boat tacking at speed with the team trimming and moving their weight effectively as soon as possible. You’ll move from position to position on the boat and also have a chance to take the helm.

Day 2 will start with Spinnaker land drills (wind dependent) and then we head out onto the water to put the theory into practice.

• Aug 21st 2026: Friday
Join us for a crew dinner on shore and stay on board for an early start the following morning. Most crew will be arriving around 7:00pm but please email us if you would like to arrive at an earlier or later time.

You will be able to stay on board overnight or if you wish for some more comfort you can stay in a local hotel.

• Aug 22nd 2026: Saturday
9:30am start with a safety briefing. Before setting off, everyone will also take part in cleaning and organising the boat to ensure she is ready for the journey ahead.

• Aug 23rd 2026: Sunday
A 7:00am start with spinnaker work followed by a sail over to Yarmouth.

Dinner at a local pub before staying the night at Yarmouth Harbour

• Aug 24th 2026: Monday
On the last day, another early 7:00am start to the day before sailing back to Hamble. Expected arrival in Hamble around 2pm.

• Aug 24th 2026: Departure
Before departure, we kindly ask everyone to help with a general cleaning and tidying of the boat.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english)

Full joining instructions will be provided once booked, however, please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
