Would you like to sail and learn on a large sailboat?
Do you want to gain knowledge, experience and security? Do you want to discover incredible places? Whether you are already a skipper or would like to become one, or simply want to enjoy the sea and our coasts, come aboard the sailboat!
We propose a program where you will experience the life of a sailor, the excitement of sailing and the pleasure of discovering a unique environment, in a modern Dufourt 525 Grand Large. A very long sailboat, ideal to learn and enjoy with great safety and comfort.
We will sail towards Columbretes, one of the most spectacular nature reserves in the Mediterranean. An archipelago formed by a series of islets (Illa Grossa, la Ferrera, la Foradada and el Carallot) of volcanic origin and of great ecological value. Its settlement in the sea, 80 meters deep, has allowed the generation of red coral and a great diversity of marine species here. We will swim and snorkel over the bottom of what was once the crater of the volcano. And we will live a magical night under a spectacular starry sky.
It includes different workshops and practices for those who have learning objectives: Governance and safety on the sailboat (The boat, the skipper and his crew, the steering position, instrumentation, RIPA, POB, EPIRB, abandonment, logbook, positioning in the chart, control and tasks on board...), night navigation (guards, lights, AIS, Radar...), sailing (sails, maneuvering, courses, trim...), anchoring, moorings in port and buoy...
Learn and experiment as a sailboat skipper or simply sail and enjoy this great experience.

BOARDING: At 7:30 p.m. in the Royal Marina of Valencia DISEMBARKATION: At 7:30 p.m. in the Royal Navy of Valencia

    FRIDAY

Welcome and boarding. The boat is already perfectly stowed and ready to sail, so after settling in, we will have a first "GOVERNMENT, SAFETY AND NIGHT NAVIGATION WORKSHOP". And already well prepared, after dinner, around 11:00 p.m., we will head to the Columbretes Islands to live the experience of a night cruise under the light of the moon and the stars. We will make navigation guards in turns, positioning ourselves on the chart and reviewing the indicators and security elements every 2 hours.

    SATURDAY

Around 08:00 we will moor to one of the buoys on Isla Grossa, the crater of the submerged volcano, since anchoring is prohibited as it is a protected area. After a good breakfast, we will discuss the program and distribute the tasks on board, to later bathe or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. At 11:00 a.m. we will go ashore with the pneumatics to learn about the fauna, flora and history of these refuge islands, in a curious guided tour. Around 1:00 p.m. we can snorkel to observe the varied underwater life and a spectacular volcanic background. Around 2:00 p.m. we will enjoy an aperitif and after a tasty meal on board we will have free time. And in the afternoon we will have a new "SAILING WORKSHOP", to put it into practice during our next voyage. At sunset, we will enjoy the senses in this unique place. And after a good dinner we will identify lying on the deck of the sailboat some of the most important stars for sailors. Or we will simply let the imagination that awakens a lost islet under a starry sky.

    SUNDAY

Around 8 a.m. we will taste a good breakfast that will charge us with energy for our return trip. Around 9:30 a.m. we will head towards Valencia to put into practice all the sailing theory learned the day before (heading, trim and steering the sailboat) and if we are lucky we will enjoy the visit of our friends the dolphins. In the middle of the morning we will regain our strength with a frugal lunch and good coffee while we chat, read or let ourselves be carried away by the emotions that the sea transmits. Around 2:00 p.m. we will not lack an aperitif again and a good meal, after which a pleasant conversation is guaranteed to share the entire experience.

And finally around 6:30 p.m. we will arrive at our base port in Valencia where we will say goodbye to what will surely have been a great shared experience.

*The suggested program could change depending on the weather or at the proposal of the group.
