Mile Builder Weekend

Mile Builder weekends are a great opportunity for all levels to gain miles and increase their racing skills. We start with a safety brief and try and get on the water as quickly as possible and get the boat tacking at speed with the team trimming and moving their weight effectively as soon as possible. You’ll move from position to position on the boat and also have a chance to take the helm.

Day 2 will start with Spinnaker land drills (wind dependent) and then we head out onto the water to put the theory into practice.

• Aug 7th 2026: Friday
Join us for a crew dinner on shore and stay on board for an early start the following morning. Most crew will be arriving around 7:00pm but please email us if you’d like to arrive at an earlier or later time.

You will be able to stay on board overnight or if you wish for some more comfort you can stay in a local hotel.

• Aug 8th 2026: Saturday
Early morning sail starting around 7:00am to either Weymouth or Eastbourne, depending on the wind direction. Crew dinner on shore this evening. Before setting off, everyone will also take part in cleaning and organising the boat to ensure she is ready for the journey ahead.

• Aug 9th 2026: Sunday
Another early start and sail back to Hamble with a goal of being back around 7:00pm.

• Aug 9th 2026: Departure
Before departure, we kindly ask everyone to help with a general cleaning and tidying of the boat.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english)

Full joining instructions will be provided once booked, however, please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
