Expected itinerary:
Day 1 (September 16th): Boarding in Palma de Mallorca
Arrival on board in Palma in the afternoon, meeting the crew, safety briefing and provisioning. The evening ends with a relaxing stay in the port of Palma.
Days 2 & 3 (September 17th – 18th): Offshore passage to Cartagena
After breakfast, we set sail for the longest leg of the trip. The crossing to the Spanish mainland requires one or two overnight passages, depending on wind and weather. This is the ideal time to log nautical miles, practice watch schedules, and enjoy the open sea.
Day 4 (September 19): Stay in Cartagena
Arrival in Cartagena, a city steeped in history. We moor in the marina (e.g., Yacht Port Cartagena), which is just a short walk from the city center. There will be time ashore to explore the Roman ruins or the charming old town.
Day 5 (September 20): Continue along the coast
We leave Cartagena and continue sailing west along the southern coast of Spain. Depending on the weather, this could be another long day of sailing.
Days 6 & 7 (September 21-22): Coastal sailing & arrival in Motril
The final stages take us along the coast of Andalusia. We use the time for further sailing maneuvers or a possible anchorage in a bay before heading for our destination port of Motril.
Day 8 (September 23): Disembarkation in Motril
After a final breakfast together on board, it's time to say goodbye in the marina of Motril.
